This film is just awesome and so original! I was shocked nobody had come up with the idea of a 'Kung Fu Panda' before.. the ONLY thing that brought the stars from 10/10 down to 1/10 was the monkey.. he didn't say a word throughout the entire film.. What a let down! I love monkeys and hearing them talk in cartoons usually brings tears of joy to my eyes.
Saying that, everything else was perfect. A panda doing kung fu.. it's the kind of thing Pixar should be doing! It's obviously made on a tramp's shoestring, so to have made a 40 minute film that only sent me to sleep twice, it's just fantastic. Two thumbs up!! - but again, was disappointed about the mute monkey.

Why did this even exist, I rather watch the actual "Kung Fu Panda" show. But this have to be the laziest one ever! No wonder why they wanna pretend to be DreamWorks Animation. They are Soo bad at animation, and what studio what they were thinking. I hate this cartoon that is copy and paste! What the...
This is nothing but another one of Renegade Animations blatant rip-offs made to trick parents into buying it for their kids after mistaking it for Kung Fu Panda
The story is not only more or less the same as Kung Fu Panda but is completely boring. The main character, who is obviously a stand-in for Po, is a Panda who works as a janitor who dreams of being a great Kung Fu fighter. He deceives his own son into believing he's some kind of Kung Fu master. Eventually, he becomes a genuine Kung Fu fighter and defeats the bad guys. That's all I bothered to gather while watching it, because it was so boring, I began to feel sleepy.
All of the scenery and character models were bland and lazily drawn with static animation. Their limited expressions don't properly convey their emotions at all. More often than not, only their heads and mouths move.
The dialogue was lazy and awkward, and the stale voice acting didn't help. All of the characters were forgettable or unlikable. The cheap music playing in the background only makes the experience more yawn inducing.
Some of the writing is amazingly repetitive and lazy. In the intro, the narrator literally says: "There was once a legendary warrior who was so legendary." There was even an obvious Star Wars reference, among other cheesy pop-culture shout outs.
In the end, this was nothing but a mere 41 minutes of garbage. While it isn't the worst Kung Fu Panda rip-off I've ever seen, it's definitely one of them and only good for a cheap chuckle at how bad it is.

I was a bit scared of what was going to be shown on my TV through my DVD player when I bought this roll of toilet paper at Giant for $3.99, but I was surprised that it wasn't that bad. All of the jokes were timed correctly and the animation was better than The Little Panda Fighter. DEFINITELY better.
One thing I have a problem with is that the back of the DVD case has the main character's name as Lu, when in the movie, his name is Zibo and in parentheses it has the words 'okay' and 'fat'.
The little monkey was very entertaining and should get his own spin-off movie or talk show or something like that, I would definitely watch it all the time.
All in all, it was meh. But it's still a Kung Fu Panda rip-off

This film tells the story about "a fat lazy Panda named Zibo who wants to be a master of martial arts, but is stuck as a mere cleaner for a training place of martial arts. And there is an evil tiger has plans to take over the kingdom, so Zibo must stop the tiger." See? Is this a pseudo-remake or something like that? They took nearly everything from Kung Fu Panda and changed the title to a very dull name: "Chop Kick Panda".
Surprise! The screenplay is not totally same with Kung Fu Panda. It's way way way worse than this. I wish it had the same.
If there were a half star, it completely deserves it. 0,5/10.

- TriviaThe back of the DVD box description of the movie has barely anything to do with the film, even getting the name of the main character wrong.
