Watched this on DVD last night, and will be buying it. Why change the title to 'fly me to the moon'? - nothing wrong with the original. This is a ridiculous film, a laugh out loud in places film, and has excellent cast and scenery. I liked the way that the story was built up slowly from the wailing guest at Christmas dinner, and evolved gently. The French absolutely know comedy and while it may get a bit wacky at times, and beyond belief (think Lion), it's fun, and total escapism. I don't like this 10 line rule at all - especially when one reads other reviews that are much shorter. Online space isn't infinite you know? In all, an excellent film which has nothing offensive, caters for those with love of the absurd and is entertaining.
"A Perfect Plan" is a Comedy - Romance movie in which we watch a woman finding a man just to marry and immediately divorce him in order to break a family curse. Her plan does not go as she wanted and her life will change 180 degrees.
Since I did not have high expectations from this movie and I did not expect it to be a masterpiece I was not disappointed. I found it funny and interesting, with some very good interpretations made by its cast. Regarding the interpretations I have to admit that both Diane Kruger who played as Isabelle and Dany Boon who played as Jean-Yves were very good and the combination of those two made this movie even more interesting. Lastly, I believe that "A Perfect Plan" is another comedy movie with which you will have a great time watching it.

It is a stylish and mildly diverting romantic comedy that, despite a charming lead performance, never quite rises above its predictable premise. The film follows a woman who, to break a family curse, devises an elaborate scheme to marry and divorce a complete stranger before she can marry the man she loves. The quirky premise, while a solid foundation for a fun caper, is ultimately undone by a narrative that feels too familiar and safe.
Diane Kruger is delightful in the central role, showcasing a comedic talent that is both sophisticated and endearing. Her chemistry with co-star Dany Boon is palpable and provides the film's most engaging moments. However, the plot unfolds exactly as you would expect, with every twist and turn visible from a mile away. The film relies heavily on romantic comedy tropes, delivering a series of predictable misunderstandings and heartfelt declarations that feel more obligatory than earned. It's a beautifully shot and acted film that plays it far too safe.
Is it worth watching? Yes, for a light, feel-good romantic comedy, but don't expect anything new.

I watch this movie without any expectation, since the score is not high
But... Hey! it's so good!!!
The plot that built from stranger without any affect or relation, and start to built them little by little. It's also show culture in many place and show how different of people..
I highly recommend this movie, it really perfect for me.
Far from it actually. Unless we're talking about the original plan. But even that wasn't perfect. Also telling the story does not actually make sense, seeing the context it is meant for. Unless the surprise at the end was planned. But it wasn't. Also deviating from the original plan as Diane Krugers character does, is kind of a major fail. It's a general problem if you just start to think a little bit, nothing in this movie should work.
But I still had fun watching it. Because I decided that I didn't care, that it didn't make any sense at all. The movie itself tries to cover it up by fast cuts and even faster speeches/dialog. The jokes rate is therefor a hit and miss parade. Still there is charm and there are some nice gems to be found, even though there are far better french comedies out there.
