GG is extremely annoying... She says she hates ants and ugly people... when honestly she's not the BEST looking person out there. She's so rude to that one girl in the first episode and saying she isn't wearing something appropriate for a house party, when she was literally in a bathing suit?? ... the party was practically a pool party so like... what?? GG, MJ, and Reza are so rude when it comes to other people's styles... and it's funny to me because not everything they wear is cute?? Can we talk about that cheetah print green dress MJ wears in the first episode?? PLEASE... I agree with one of the other reviews that this is a bad copycat of KUWTK.... Sorry but you guys are trying way too hard.
To be subjective, I must admit that this series has been a regular source of unproductive procrastination since early 2013. Which has suited the occupants of our household quite well. As We've come to the end of this season we are sorely contemplating what other programs could suffice in the meantime.
Although, as the previous members have commented. This series does not address the lifestyle of "Persians who are really Iranians but they don't go by that", on the other hand it does give a great account of an otherwise hidden social class.
The personalities on this show are very entertaining and we're constantly drawn to there personal journeys of growth. I personally feel as if our want/need to align our self with someone else has assisted in making this series so addictive.
We are all anticipating this series come back, so don't be too long :D.

Obnoxious materialistic Kardashian wannabes. These are some of the least self aware humans I've ever seen. They're 4s thinking they're 10s, and the show is overtly scripted.
Started watching them when they first started but for some reason the E Network dropped the franchise. I subscribed to Hayu so was able to binge watch from series 3-9 where I left off.
They were cute in 2014 but WTF? These people are continually fighting for air time to the point of ridiculousness. They are all liars, bad actors and narcissistic...
You just need to look at their traumatic upbringing's though to understand their drastically flawed personalities. They are so dysfunctional it's not even funny anymore.
Bunch of aging 50 year olds trying really hard not to grow up.
Really SAD 😔

I am addicted to this show. It is an interesting look into a culture that is private and hidden from a white man like me.
I've dealt with Persians in my career and they are always motivated and intelligent people, but Shah's of Sunset Persians are f___ing over the top crazy. I hope their behavior is overly dramatized because they have cameras in their faces, because there are some serious personal problems on parade here.
Aside from that this is a fresh concept and non-stop action that comes across as genuine.
As another review wrote, its is a train wreck, and we all like to watch train wrecks, right?
Looking forward to Season 3 - if it happens.
