    Sweet movie

Love this movie. Kim and Pie makes a great couple. The story line is typical for a straight girl and tomboy. Waiting for yes or no 3 with the same casts

    a sweet teenager love story

I don't want to give much spoiler for this movie.

So, Pie who is brought up with a dislike towards tomboys. And in coincidence her collage roommate happens to be Kim, a girl who dress like a boy but denies being a tomboy. Conflicts happens and then gradually this two person like each other leading to them falling in love.

This got to be one of the sweetest tom movie I ever seen. Without nudity and sex scene, just a few kisses and hugs. But the two lead actress is awesome and have amazing chemistry on screen. Tina portrayal as Kim the confused tomboy who does know whether she like female or not. And Aom portrayal of Pie who is scared of the eyes and opinion of people towards homo.

All in all, recommended for all who know "love is love".

The sweetest movie. My new favorite

I loved this so much. I have just recently realized that I am bi, and i was literally screaming in just the first 20 minutes. Everything about this is so beautiful. It shows such a genuine sweet kind of love. And not only that, but it was so funny at some parts. If you like romances, especially lgbtq ones, i 100 percent reccomend.

Love That Isn't Supposed to Be: Yes or No

What happens when the roommate you least expect becomes the person you never imagined you'd need?

Yes or No (Yaak Rak Gaw Rak Loey, 2010) is a landmark Thai romantic comedy-drama directed by Sarasawadee Wongsompetch. It follows Pie, a traditionally raised young woman who moves into college dorm life and must share a room with Kim, a "tom" (a tomboy) whose appearance and mannerisms challenge Pie's assumptions. What begins as discomfort evolves into confusion-and eventually, something more tender and complicated.

From a detailed, analytical perspective, Yes or No makes its most effective strides through character transformation and cultural tension. Pie's internal conflict-rooted in family expectations and societal norms-is believable; her journey from prejudice to self-awareness is paced through small gestures: shared meals, late-night conversations, jealousy, and vulnerability. Kim, in contrast, embodies a mix of certainty and uncertainty; her butch identity isn't portrayed as a caricature, but as an integral part of who she is. The screenplay does well to insert conflict not only from within Pie but also from external pressures-friends, family, rumors-that force both women to reckon with what love demands. Cinematography uses light and framing to signify inner world changes: boundaries erode, rooms once divided become shared spaces, and literal and emotional walls fall. The soundtrack and score add a poignant layer, emphasizing scenes of intimacy and longing.

That said, the narrative isn't flawless. Some plot points feel predictable: jealousy arcs, misunderstandings, and finally, confessions follow familiar romantic beats. Additionally, due to its modest budget, specific settings often feel limited, and supporting characters (such as Jane) sometimes exist more to reflect Pie and Kim's growth than to have their own fully developed arcs.

Rating: 6/10. Yes or No succeeds as a gentle, genuine romance exploring identity and love under constraint. Familiar in structure but resonant in feeling-one of Thai cinema's early and essential voices for lesbian relationships.

    Thai first lesbian love!

If you have a little understanding of Thai culture then it would be easier to understand this movie. In fact, though Thailand is renown for being very open minded when it comes to gay and transgender men, it still has a very conservative view about women. There are still a lot of stereotypes but this movie will give you a glimpse of the Thai lesbian world which is finally coming out of the closet! It's a cute first love story which I totally recommend to anyone into romantic comedies!
