    A Sellout Show About Sellouts

I completely agree with "A waste of time" review by "sbr-658-9530574" that was written on August 2018. I've just watched 13 episodes which seems like a complete season with the whole upbringing and the end of one major event.

This show is about superheroes which are selling themselves out for sponsorship to do what they like and obey every command - a puppet show. Why I called it a sellout is because you can literally see uncensored or unchanged company names throughout the anime and it portrays the major role of those sponsors, how they control the play out of these called "super heroes".

The dialogues are dull and boring, the main character (Kotetsu) is underrated and being shunned even though he most of the time figures out who did what, but is never credited and that seemed very annoying to me especially at the end of episode13 where I decided not to watch this garbage anymore.

The animation/drawing art is really great and the voice actors (dubbed) as well, well but like I said sponsorship... Though ironically this anime lacks so much in the superhero department as nothing "awesome" or intriguing is shown by those superheroes. I'd rather suggest to watch Lego movies of superheroes, even though they are chilched, they are funnier and more interesting, lmao.

But yeah, I would suggest to skip this anime, maybe movies of the series are better. Also there are a lot of characters which could be seem as main, but there is no progression on them and the writing is very poor. The main protagonist/s Bunny and Tiger are the ones who evolve the most between each other (because they are a team), though it's still very slow and doesn't even seem like progress.

Overall this anime is trash, just a flashy and sparkly diamond made out of plastic. The hype is from people who haven't actually seen a decent anime. The only thing that kept me watching for this long was the animation and art style which I like, really speaks of quality, though everything else made it really boring and one episode seemed like it was going for an hour.

First season is amazing, second not worth watching

In the first season it was amazing, the second just felt like they were trying to pass it on to the new younger generation but failed to make those characters compelling enough to get invested in. Mr. Black and HIT in particular are obviously just a rehash of T&B's original dynamic, and that makes them uninteresting. Shout out to Ryan though, love that guy.

It didn't have enough Tiger and Bunny. Though I did like some of the new characters and the buddy team up idea, it felt like they made T&B's relationship more distant (to the point of even seeming OOC) and kept focus off of them for the most part. Which is a strange move for a show literally named after those characters. I think the people who made the second season wanted something from it that's severely different from what fans of the original first season wanted.

    What a shame

Took a fantastic and entertaining season one, then castrated, lobotomized and PC principaled every inch of it to create the most pathetic buddy-buddy, cry-fest anime on the air in S2.

If you love watching 20/25 minutes of people talking about their feelings... S2 was written for you...enjoy!

    Great animation, Bad Writing.

Animation Quality: 8/10 - combines 2D and 3D well, best aspect of the show. Some of the 3D parts look clunky, however. The hands/fingers are especially bad.

Voice Acting: 7/10 - Pretty good and has some classic actors, but not amazing. All of the voices fit well, but some actors are much more believable than others.

Writing: 5/10 - The writing isn't as bad as most other reviewers complain about. That being said, it's mediocre at best. The overall long plot is especially lacking/shallow, and the short plots are usually pretty lame.

Directing: 7/10 - Decent, but some scenes are directed badly or rushed. Some of the camera work makes you wonder what the heck the director was thinking. One parts swayed the cam back and forth and actually made me nauseous.

Music: 4/10 - Basic and lacks variety. Gets repetitive quickly.

Overall: Like many Netflix animes, this one is sub par. Despite its great animation quality, its stupid premise and bad writing make it hard to watch. It's a very shallow, predictable show. The whole "sponsored TV show" version of MHA doesn't help either; makes it hard to root for the heroes. The only reason I kept watching was because it was fun to rip on. So many stupid scenes that were mind-blowingly dumb/corny that it actually became fun to watch in an ironic sense.

I really enjoyed this superhero team-up anime!

I thought it was a great idea to add a little twist and turns among the characters such as Tiger being the laid back funny single dad and the pretty boy Bunny who kinda has a type of "Batman" background to him. Also I honestly like the fact we get to see a openly gay superhero who you hardly ever see in anime or even in any superhero movie to date. Fire Emblem is just really one of the best LGBTQ characters out there in all honest, they really should've made a separate show for him but that doesn't mean I didn't like the other heroes either. Its just I thought it would be nice for a change in anime to get to know more of Fire Emblem as a person as well as a hero.

It was actually funny while watching both sub and dub versions (thats all the site had while going through eps), like both versions are awesome and thats actually rare for me. Like its either one or the other that is the best but nope, this proved me wrong there! Both sub and dub voice actors were brilliant at their performances . If you liked One Punch Man, my hero academia or any other superhero inspired anime, watch this folks!!!:)
