    The Spy

When Taylor's security team captures the girl Leah Marcos outside the perimeter of Terra Nova, Cmdr. Taylor assigns Jim and his wife Elizabeth to be the foster parents of Leah. Soon Mira comes with the Sixties to Terra Nova to discuss the future of Leah, but the girl prefers to stay in Terra Nova with the Shannon's family. When the girl is recaptured after stealing a strange device in the former Mira's house, she says that she lied because she wanted to save her brother Sam that stays with Mira. Taylor asks the people to forget Leah's last lie, but Jim believes the girl is telling the truth.

"The Runaway" isa good episode of "Terra Nova". The secret between Taylor and Mira seems to be the greatest mystery so far. The plot of the runaway girl may be predictable for some viewers, but surprised me. My vote is eight.

In this episode Reynolds seeks permission to Court Maddy from Maddy's father, than later follows though with courting Maddy. In episode 3 it is implied the asking permission to Court Maddy has already taken place and they are already courting. This implies that the episodes were shown out of sync.

Jim Shannon: Mr. Shannon! Sir, uh, I was hoping to talk to you about your daughter, Maddy.

      Mark Reynolds: What about her?

Mark Reynolds: Uh, well, ay you know, I've begun the initial stages of courting Maddy. And I was wondering if I could...

Jim Shannon: Excuse me, Reynolds. You are aware that I carry a gun, have a quick temper and tend to hold grudges, right?
