Continuity

When the mother steps into the bathtub at the start of the movie, it only goes up to her ankles. In the next scene the bathtub is full.

Factual errors

(at around 1h 6 mins) When Denise (the nanny) escapes from the police car, she simply opens the door and walks away. Rear doors on patrol cars do not open from the inside, they must be opened from the outside.
(at around 20 mins) Everything about the pregnancy plotline is ridiculous. 3 weeks pregnant is one week before the first missed period. When Melissa started bleeding and cramping, she would have thought her period arrived a week early, not that there was a medical problem. In all likelihood, she wouldn't even be able to get a positive pregnancy test yet. Additionally, bleeding and cramping are not signs of pre-eclampsia, which happens much later in pregnancy anyway.

The doctor is part of the conspiracy and the pregnancy is used as an excuse to get Melissa out of the way, but having such an easily disproved explanation stretches belief.

Revealing mistakes

Miscellaneous

Hayden Byerly's name is misspelled in the opening credits as Byler.
