Immediately when I heard and saw the main title "Community" was stylized as a L&O and it just kept going. I even thought the dramatic parts (with the ending and one minor character) but it just kept going, and going...and going, until the end of the episode.
Plus they give a credited thank you for Dick Wolf

Everything about this episode was spot on. As a big L&O fan, I was belly laughing from beginning to end. And I almost fell off my chair when Leslie Hendrix made her cameo as the botanist medical examiner. Also funny that Chang had no speaking part in this episode, but he's there lol
This episode was easily the best I've ever seen. The pacing, the lines, the acting was all absolutely perfect.
I hope they keep on making episodes like this, they probably did, im binge watching the show now

- TriviaLeslie Hendrix, who plays the botanist who examines the yam, also played ME Rogers in many episodes of Law & Order (1990). Sony didn't want to pay for Leslie's flight, but Dan Harmon wrote her a heartfelt letter, and she agreed to be in the episode.
- GoofsWhen Todd shows Troy and Abed the photo on his camera, supposedly taken at 8:10 PM, the timestamp on the camera reads 11:18 PM instead.
- Quotes
Todd: What's this about?
Abed Nadir: It's about the killing of our biology yam. Will you please come with us?
Todd: But I'm in the middle of making a handle.
Abed Nadir: He wants it the hard way. Tell him what Shirley said.
Troy Barnes: Todd Jacobson, you have the right to do whatever you want. Nothing you say or do can be used against you by anyone, but we'd really like it if you came with us. Please and thank you.
