Just too good for television. Not a single moment of boredom. It's like watching a very good action movie and a very good comedy at the same time. And the most important part is that this episode is not based on the usual stupidity comedy that they use too often.

A bit of structure goes a long way

My overall rating of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"'s Season 7: 3/10

In a season that's otherwise very bad, my two favourite episodes seem to have something in common: they're both self-contained setpieces that spoof action movies. This episode is somewhat worse/less funny than "The Gang Gets Trapped", but it's a lot more dynamic and varied and still has more than enough laughs to be worth your while.

Frank says that the Schuylkill river is the dumping ground of all of Philadelphia's unsolved murders. Rob McElhenney said he once found a dead body near the Schuylkill river once when he was trying to drink with his friends as a teenager. They alerted a cop who said that the dead body was just "clothes."

Goofs
The gang goes to see Thunder Gun Express at the TLA - Theater of the Living Arts - but when shown inside they are seated in a normal movie theater with rows of seats. The TLA, located on South Street in Philadelphia, is a live performance venue. The audience area is simply a large open space for standing. There are no seats.
