    Improbable Alliance and Forty-Seven Suspects

Improbable Alliance and Forty-Seven Suspects Taylor leaves Terra Nova alone in his motorcycle and assigns Jim as temporary commander. He heads to the waterfall where Lucas carves his equations on the rocks. Out of the blue, he is surprised and captured by Mira, who leads him to the Sixers through the woods. However, they are attacked by a pterosaur and Taylor reverts the situation, subduing Mira. When two slashers attack them, they flee but lose their weapon. Now they must team-up to each other to survive. Meanwhile, in Terra Nova, Jim and Mark Reynolds see the Sixers communicating from the woods with the spy using flashlights. Jim spots the location in Terra Nova and they head to the place. Skye is the spy and she hides from Jim and Mark, but cut his hand in a piece of glass that she was using to communicate. Jim finds a drop of blood floating on a paint sealant and he brings to Elisabeth to try to identify the DNA.

"Now You See Me" is a good episode of "Terra Nova". The identity of the spy is disclosed to the viewers. Secrets relative to Mira are also disclosed. The corny moment is the segment with Zoe and her pet. My vote is seven.

    • Trivia
After the DNA sample is destroyed, Elisabeth still determines that it is a female's blood, narrowing the search from 84 to 47 suspects. The number 47 is a favorite of the Star Trek veterans on the writing and production staff of Terra Nova. The inclusion of the number 47 started on Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) by writer/co-producer Joe Menosky and was quickly adopted by the rest of the writing and production team. The tradition of including the number 47 in inconspicuous places continued in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), Star Trek: Voyager (1995), Star Trek: Enterprise (2001), and Alias (2001). Menosky said that he chose that particular number because when he was a graduate student at Pomona College, Professor of Mathematics Donald Bentley proved as a joke that all numbers are equal to 47.
