A truly good vacation episode and a bad Patrick Episode

Walking the Plankton was pretty good. Plankton tries to steal the formula while Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob go on a cruise. The catch is that Plankton takes Karen on their "second honeymoon" on the same cruise because Mr. Krabs was smart enough to take the formula with him. Honestly, the whole premise is great as Plankton is trying to enjoy some time with his wife all while hiding his formula chase. Its good and while you know Plankton will get caught in the end, it's still leaves you wondering how Karen will punish Plankton. It's worth the watch.

Then we got Patrick's Staycation. Which is nothing but Patrick being a jerk to SpongeBob when the latter gives him a staycation at his rock. Patrick was burned out from doing nothing, you can't blame him here. But the whole episode is Patrick barking orders at SpongeBob and not being grateful about it! He even abandons his home, steals Squidward's meal, and commandeers SpongeBob's bed. That's not a staycation, that taking advantage of others!

I would much rather see SpongeBob and Squidward give Sandy a staycation after her vacation plans fall flat. That's a good concept for an episode! Just think about it.

    The definitive travel episode

In this episode, SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs win a free cruise, while Plankton tries to take the formula again. Only this time, there is a catch: he offers to take Karen on a "second honeymoon." She is thrilled at first, but then get suspicious of what Plankton is up to. It took a "vacation dial" for him to proceed with his hunt without Karen noticing. But that chase didn't last long. Karen, being the anti-heroine that she is, finds out that the cruise was a setup "for his own selfish needs." When she splits the ship in half with her laser, Mr. Krabs ignores the scuffle and lamets his wrecked cruise, probably out of more penny pinching. Both restaurateurs deserved this incident, because Karen earned that outing just as much as SpongeBob did. This is a must see for any thrill seekers.

[Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob are going on a luxury cruise together, and Mr. Krabs is taking the secret formula with him for safety, which frustrates Plankton]

Plankton: Karen, we are going on a luxury cruise!

Karen: A cruise, just the two of us? Oh, Plankton!

[She cries out of joy but soon stops]

Karen: Hey, if this is another scheme to steal the secret formula, you can leave me home!

Plankton: No, of course not! Just think of it as our second honeymoon.

Karen: Don't you have to have a first honeymoon before you embark on a second?

Plankton: Why don't I bump those vacation settings up a smidge?

[Plankton turns up a vacation dial on Karen's settings]

Karen: Oh, Plankton, this second honeymoon is gonna be so great!

Plankton: [pulling out a big suitcase] Yeah, it's going to be groovy, babe. Now a quick check of the vacation inventory. Suntan lotion, sunglass, death laser...

      Karen: Got it!

[fires the death laser, splitting Plankton's suitcase in half]

Karen: Did you see the pretty laser, honey?

Plankton: See it? It almost split me in half!

Karen: Whoops, sorry! I'm just so excited about our cruise!

[she raves about the cruise while Plankton turns down the vacation dial]

Plankton: Gotta rethink that vacation algorithm when we get back.
