Resistance

So I've been following this show for quite some time, when I read about It a few months ago I got really excited because It seemed like a very interesting idea. Can't say I felt the same way after watching a few episodes, sometimes It seemed so watered down to the point It was plain silly, but I still had hopes. The finale showed this show has potential with the right focus and writing, It was refreshing to see them break the boundaries that had previously limited the show big time and It paid off with some great moments and a conclusion that led the audience hungry for more, I really hope they get their act together and come up with a second season, at least now they know where to start.

The Shannon family is rescued by Taylor that witnesses with Jim the murder of Washington by Lucas, who executes her shooting in her head in cold blood. Jim discloses to Taylor that Washington asked him to tell Taylor to remember Cu Lao Cham. He tells to Jim that in this battle in an island, they destroyed the bridge to the continent to avoid the enemy to send more soldiers. So now they decide to destroy the portal to avoid the depletion of Terra Nova and prevent more Phoenix mercenaries to come from 2149. Jim offers to destroy the Hope Plaza that he had break in and isolate Terra Nova from 2149. They set a sophisticated plan in motion.

"Resistance" is the last and best episode of "Terra Nova" with an engaging adventure. There is a redemption of characters, such as Skye and Josh, despite the unnecessary death of Lt. Washington. The villain Lucas is shot twice and does not die is the bad part of the show. The lack of chemistry between Shelley Conn and Jason O'Mara is understandable for a couple married for some many years. In Brazil, the two last episodes were release together on DVD. My vote is eight.
