The series is just not as good as it once was
Sadly, NCIS LA is not as good as it used to be. The action. The humor. The suspense. The storylines. The writing. The "family/team" chemistry that used to be there.
The last couple of seasons just doesn't portray a "real" and "believable" story like earlier episodes in the previous years. Seems like the writers strive to make sure everything has political correctness instead of real life scenarios.
I enjoy Gerald McRaney as an actor but I just don't care for his character in this series. Nor do I care for the Fatima and Roundtree characters. To me the chemistry just isn't there like it used to be. Maybe I'm just set in my ways but the last few seasons just haven't appeased me.
It's hard getting through these episodes anymore, but I keep hoping.
