Seems like everyone is talking about the second part, but lets not forget the first part as well. It was a masterpiece combined, and as a standalone episode I was thinking "they not going to make it in time". The feeling when you know you need to see more but the 22 minutes isn't enough. Luckely us fans didn't need to wait to see the rest of this awesome tale.
This episode did everything to catch and enchant its audience right from the start. They ditched Korra (joke). Instead they gave us a back-story about a young teenager named Wan, trying to change his world. Thrue events of his life he battles and befriends spirits, humans and learns to master the element of fire to survive in the wilds. It is explained how this back-story is important to the current LOK season as well as it shows how different the world was before the era of the Avatar.

I do not use to review a single chapter of a TV show, moreover if it's as old as this one (I'm making this review on 2018).
But hey, this chapter was stupidly beautiful. I'll try to paint some of these landscapes into oils. Really appreciate the effort of the drawings, it's really necessary to have this piece of artwork into TV
