- [a blue macaw eats the whole box of mints and starts choking]
- Blu: Oh, no, no, no, no, not the whole box! Get that... out of your... mouth!
- [he gets the box of mints out of the blue macaw's throat]
- Eduardo: What is this doing here? What's going on?
- Additional Voices: We found them flying too close to the humans
- Eduardo: What? And who are you?
- Blu: Uh...
- Eduardo: Uh is not an appropriate answer. I asked you a question. Where did you come from?
- Jewel: [lJewel gets defensive against Eduardo] Hey! Back off!
- Eduardo: [Before swooping onto the loggers] Lead the way, Blu.
- Blu: [Overjoyed at his father in law saying his correct name] Ah...! That's my name! Yes... I am Blu!
- [Eduardo a-hums him]
- Blu: Oh, right... Birds of blue feathers...!
- Jewel, Tiago, Carla, Bia, Roberto: [Joined by the entire flock] ... Have to stick sogether!
- Jewel: [On learning her husband is facing the loggers solo] No, daddy, I'm not going with you.
- Eduardo: You have to go! I will not put my family in danger!
- Jewel: Blu is my family. And I'm not leaving him behind!
- Blu: [from off-screen] You don't have to.
- Jewel: [Touches her beak with his] Are you okay?
- Blu: [Looks to his father in law] Look. Eduardo, I may not be the bird-iest bird in the flock... but for once that's a good thing! You know the jungle... I know humans. And I know that together we can defeat them!
- [Carla, Bia and Tiago fly to hug Jewel]
- Blu: We can't let them take our home. Sure it's hot and loud and filled with creepy bugs.
- [Looks to Carla, Bia and Tiago who are hugging to Jewel]
- Blu: But it's ours. Let's fight. Who is with me?
- Old Bird: I'm with you!
- [the blue macaw felts down]
- Blu: Anybody else?
- Carla: [seeing her mother give a tearful laugh] Mom? Are you okay?
- Eduardo: [startled and drops Blu] "Mom"?
- [turns to face his grandchildren]
- Eduardo: I'm a grandpa?
- [taking it in]
- Eduardo: I'm a grandpa...
- [overjoyed]
- Eduardo: Look at me, I'm a grandpa!
- Jewel: [as her father laughs] Daddy, this is Carla, Bia and Tiago!
- Bia: Nice to meet you, sir!
- Eduardo: There's no "sir" around here, young lady! You can call me "pop-pop"!
- Carla: "Pop-pop"? Ooh, I like that, has a nice ring to it.
- Blu: [Blu and Eduardo are flying over the Amazon river] Hey. You are fast. You are really, really fast. I think I pulled a wing or something. You really fast for an old bird.
- [Eduardo looks askance to Blu]
- Blu: For such a wise bird, is what I meant to say. Wise bird. Which sometimes come with age but also can happen when you're young, like in your case. You could be wise and young, which is kind of a rare combination but thrilling when it happens.
- Eduardo: Be quiet.
- Blu: Thank you, sir.
- Eduardo: It's time to shake that city off you. You need to learn the basics of jungle survval.
- Blu: I thought we were going sightseeing.
- Eduardo: [laughing] It's training day. Come on!
- [Blu lies in a puddle of mud]
- Eduardo: The mud is your friend. This is your camouflaged! Feel it. Taste it!
- [Blu begins to get muddy and Eduardo throws the mud at him]
- Eduardo: If you don't feel it crusty, you're not doing it right!
- [Blu begins to roll in sheets covered of mud]
- Eduardo: You don't wanna be seen by humans!
- [Blu begins to do abs covered of mud]
- Eduardo: Come on! You're a macaw or a Turkey?
- [Blu begins to fly until he is swallowed by a snake who spits him out after Eduardo places his claws. They tried to eat a Brazil nut but Blu fails when trying to eat it]
- Eduardo: Faster. Faster.
- [Blu begins to jumping preventing crocodiles from eating him]
- Eduardo: Come on! You don't want to be eaten!
- [Blu is tied and hanging upside down]
- Eduardo: You're alone in the jungle. You get caught in a trap. What do you do?
- Eduardo: Brazil nut trees. These trees are the key to our way life. The trees feed us. They sustain us. They...
- [Eduardo notices that Blu fell asleep]
- Eduardo: Wake up!
- Blu: I'm up. Nutty Brazil. Brazil nut trees, something. Yeah, got it.
- Eduardo: This is important. We have to protect these trees. Our future depends on it.
- Felipe: [Felipe comes flying with his flock] Yo, Eddie. Who is your sidekick? You got a nurse now?
- Blu: Hi, I'm...
- Eduardo: Aren't you boys getting a little bit too close to our side? We have a deal, Felipe.
- Felipe: Hey relax. You know we got nothing but mad love for you.
- [Felipe retreats flying with his flock]
- Felipe: Come on, boys, let's fly. Paint the sky, before they start to cry.
- Blu: They seem nice.
- Blu: It's just like soccer. I can do this. All right any special strategies? What are running at 4 4 2 or a 5 4 1? What are we doing here, coach? What position do I play?
- Eduardo: Actually I do have a perfect spot for you.
- Blu: [Blu starts to sell water] Water. Water here. Get your water.
- [a macaw passes very fast]
- Blu: Okay, thanks.
- Aunt Mimi: Jewel?
- [Mimi passes flying faster searching for Jewel]
- Aunt Mimi: Make way. Make way! Jewel!
- Jewel: Aunt Mimi? Aunt Mimi!
- [Mimi hugs her niece]

- [Mimi runs to hugs Blu and Jewel's kids]

- [They leave the area flying and hugs Blu]

- [she has a piece of clay in her paw for her father to try it]

- [Bia puts the piece of clay in Blu's peak]

- [Bia retires flying]
- Eduardo: Smart girl.
- [Blu spits out the piece of clay]
- Eduardo: So, I though I'd take Louie, here, for a little tour of the area. Show him around.
- Jewel: That's a great idea.

- Jewel: You go have fun with Daddy and I'll explore around here with the kids.
- Blu: Yeah, okay, Sure.

- [Blu enters to the nest to puts his fanny pack]

- Eduardo: Okay. Lou, come closer
- [Blu takes a step closer to hug Eduardo]

- Blu: This is a fanny pack.
- Eduardo: Fanny pack. Adorable. It's human. And now that you're joining the tribe, you won't be needing it anymore. I'll meet you by the clay banks.
- [Eduardo retires flying]
- Blu: Joining the tribe? He doesn't actually think we're moving to the jungle, does he?
- Jewel: No, he's just excited we're all here. Let's not ruin the moment, okay?
- [Jewel touches Blu's chest with her feathers]
- Jewel: Besides, it won't kill you to leave behind the fanny pack.
- Blu: All right, you win. I will leave the fanny pack behind.
- [Blu enters to the nest to takes off his fanny pack]

- Jewel: [Blu see Jewel with them kids going flying to explore] Bye, Honey. Have fun.
- Blu: Yeah. Sure, bye.
- Eduardo: [Eduardo notices a strange noise and Blu follow him. Hiding they see the loggers] Never see them this close to the village before.
- [Blu looks out to see]
- Eduardo: What? Don't let them see you!
- Blu: Right, right. Sorry. Maybe we should go find Linda
- Eduardo: What's a Linda?
- Blu: Linda is the person that raised me.

- Roberto: Yeah. When we were kids, we had the cutest nicknames for each other

- [Blu approaches to Jewel and whispers]

- [Aunt Mimi with its beak it begins to touch a branch like a guitar string]

- Eduardo: It's your most important tool.

- [Blu tries to cut the vines to free himself]

- Eduardo: Time's up.
- [Eduardo cuts the vines throwing Blu to the ground]
- Eduardo: You're jaguar meat. Roberto got it on the first try.
- Blu: Of course he did.
- Blu: Um...
- [Blu takes another step closer]
- Eduardo: You brought my Jewel back to me. I thank you. I'm going to hug you now.

- [Eduardo tries to hug Blu]

- [they fumble to hug each other when suddenly Eduardo grabs Blu in a tight hug]

- [Nico wipes tears away from his eyes and him and Pedro watch them]

- Nico: It's a heavy moment, and I'm very vulnerable right now.
