I seriously hope this is one of the last episodes with Tracey's wife. It's just annoying, maybe not quite as bad as Scott's Tots (if you know you know), but pretty close. I guess part of it si that I detest all of the reality shows to begin with like every housewives show ever made... It's pretty much the degeneration of our society, but I digress. Anyway, "Angie" is a loud, annoying, poor excuse for a "wife" and again, exactly what is wrong with this world today. Hey, I have an idea for an episode... Angie is on the phone driving down the street yelling at Jack, Tracey, Liz....whomever and suddenly she goes off the road into the Husson, the end!
This one is tough to review, because it has a great cast and an excellent premise; Sherrie Shepherd is especially a force to be reckoned. The problem is that it is taking the place of a different kind of show, instead of being its own ... which it had already done the first time.
I can understand wanting to revisit a previous success, especially with so dynamic and interesting an actress as Ms Shepherd, who utterly dominates any scene she is in. But this isn't her show -- or rather, it is, and in place of a different show starring different people. And while it accurately captures all the style energy and content of those kinds of TV shows, it does so at the expense of this other TV show -- the one we tuned in to see -- and at the expense of those actors.
In short: if you want to make a Sherrie Shepherd TV show, I can see why ... but not by making it over the show we tuned to see *twice*

- TriviaWhen Kenneth receives the compliment from Jack about how nicely he was dressed, Kenneth responds, "Everything I know about fashion, I learned from my old college roommate, John Mark Karr." John Mark Karr was the school teacher who falsely confessed to the murder of JonBenet Ramsey and Kenneth is wearing a similar outfit with similarly styled hair as Karr did when he was photographed being detained.
