    The Red Eye Skitter

The 2nd Mass uses an abandoned airport as a hiding place and recover from the last battle with the alien forces. Captain Weaver expects to move to Catskills to rest in the winter, but Tom believes that the Overlords wants this movement. Ben and Jimmy use their patrol to secretly hunt down Skitters. When Pope and the Berserkers kidnap Tom to force him to leave the 2nd Mass, he is rescued by Ben and Jimmy and the rebel group is arrested and delivered to Captain Weaver that forces them to accept Tom or go to jail. Ben and Jimmy attack a group of Skitter, but Ben is controlled by the one with red eye and Jimmy is deadly wounded. Out of the blue, a small plane piloted by a woman lands on the airport and the 2nd Mass is informed that Charleston has become the gathering point of survivors.

"Compass" is an episode of "Falling Skies" with many twists, secrets and mysteries. Is Ben a traitor, is maybe the first question? Is Charleston a trap to the 2nd Mass? Who is the pilot of the airplane? What kind of problems Pope and the Berserkers will bring to the 2nd Mass? Pope's theft of Jimmy's compass is nasty. The loss of Jimmy is sad. Looking forward to seeing the replies to the above questions in the next episode. My vote is seven.

    News from the front

The Spielberg-led talentless saga continues. Despite months on the run in mud and dirt without hot water, all women still have perfect hair and impecable make-up. When a 13-year-old orphan boy dies tragically, one of the antagonists suddenly refuses to attend his funeral and steals his personal belongings. A WWI biplane lands in the rebels camp. Endless guilt-ridden dialogues and incessant hugging continue unabated, intersperced with both bursts of tears and sudden kissing.
