So...the show is fine...in that... I've never seen it before.
It's not a comedy sitcom.
It's fairy tale...and has to be either police or medical. Are those the only options on one hour drama shows????
So...something different.... I'm watching it bc it's something different.
My default for this show is a 5 star.
It can move up or down from there.
I don't think I have a 7 yet I MAY have a 6.
As I'm watching this...accepting it for what it is...I'm not changing my system or grading this on a curve.
I'll never see nor do I need to see this episode again.
Only reason I am reviewing it...is bc I had to drop it from 5 to 4.
The more screen time the girlfriend gets ..no fore dawg. I can't even say what she is doing wrong...and I don't think she has any control over it.
She's not good. I can see her acting.
Her look, her delivery, her voice....im just not buying it.
Everyone else...acting wise is neutral or fine enough that I don't need to comment on it.
So...that's it...other than...they are teasing it...so I wonder when the partner is gonna find out...or the main dude (still don't know how name. Is he Grimm? Which one is scrubs?)...is he gonna tell the partner....or tell the girlfriend. I don't really care...but it's the thing I'm supposed to be cliff hanging onto. Whatever.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Three Bigfoot hunters are looking for Bigfoot in the forest. Out of the blue, a creature attacks them and only the woman survives. Meanwhile, the horses' breeder Thom Carson sees something attacking the horses and he shoots with his gun. He finds one horse wounded and he calls the veterinary Juliette Silverton. Soon they find the bodies of the two hunters and Juliette summons Nick. They find the girl that survived the attack and she tells that the Bigfoot attacked them. Meanwhile Monroe is awakened during the night and he finds his friend Larry inside the house shot in the leg in the Wildermann form. Larry tells that he can not get back to the human form. Monroe calls Nick and Larry dies. Soon there are other attacks in the city and in common, all the Wildermann are client of the psychologist Constantine Brinkerhof. Nick decides to investigate the psychologist and soon he discovers that Brinkerhof is performing medical experiments with the Wildermann to help them to control their impulses.
"Big Feet" is one of the best episodes of Grimm, with a story that recalls "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" with the creature being part of an experiment. The story begins with Bigfoot that actually is a Wildermann. Nick learns the meaning of "woge" and Hank is confused about what he saw. Juliette continues to snoop around the mysteries and she will probably discover the truth about nick. My vote is nine.

- TriviaThe opening quote - "He stripped off his skin and tossed it into the fire and he was in human form again." - is from the Brothers Grimm fairytale "Hans the Hedgehog".
- GoofsWhen Monroe says good-bye to Larry, he uses the German proverb "Alles hat ein Ende, nur die Wurst hat zwei" ("Everything has one end, only the sausage has two"). It is rather strange for Monroe (or his dad) to say this at a grave or deathbed because it is more of a cheeky phrase and has nothing to do with being respectful to a deceased person (as Monroe seems to be mourning his death). Today, the phrase is most commonly known as the title of a 1986 song by Stephan Remmler which deals with relationship issues.
- Quotes
Nick Burkhardt: [after Monroe says something in German] That sounded really beautiful. What does it mean?
Monroe: "Everything has an end. Only the sausage has two." My father used to say it when anyone died
