The Ghost of Queen's Park

This is a good episode, the information about Radium was fascinating and accurate. Reminds me of the ladies that used to paint watch faces.

The relationship between Crabtree and Dr. Grace should have been more further pursued there is great chemistry between them. As always the scenes and sets are fabulous with detail and these features envelope you in the period.

Season 6 of Murdoch Mysteries has been fairly lackluster, as far as I am concerned, with only one episode worth repeat viewing ("A Study in Sherlock"). "The Ghost of Queen's Park" was an enjoyable return to form.

The episode had an intriguing mystery, and an enjoyable mix of science by Murdoch, and superstition by Crabtree. It was also fun to watch Crabtree stand up a bit for his viewpoint against the disapproval of Detective Murdoch, supported by the gentle encouragement of Dr. Grace.

At this point in the series, Crabtree and Dr. Grace's budding romance is considerably more fun and interesting to follow than Murdoch and Dr. Ogden's. I like the character of Dr. Julia Ogden, and the performance by Helene Joy. But it seems to me that her character, at the moment, is just floundering on the show.

I agree with the previous reviewer. This would be a good episode to introduce new viewers to the show. I hope it signals a return to more engaging and intriguing episodes.
