Hmm! Good one ; but not that Impressive!
One of my suggested me to watch it and after downloading this movie long back in 2018, I've managed to watch it in 2021 Pandemic time. Interesting isn't it?
So basically after watching this entire movie I can simply tell you all that it's a kind of Okeyish type movie (like not that impressive, not that worth praising as well). It's a love story of 2 young college buddies who definitely belongs to 20s era and wanna live there life king-queen size, but have strict parents (strict in the sense ki just Society oriented). Ahhhnnn I don't wanna tell you the plot here. Let's move on to the next section.
The acting performance of the leading characters are like pretty average, but I will rate them good because it's 2013 movie and at that time Nushrat and Kartik had just started their careers.
Other supporting characters also acted decent not that worth remembering.
Overall I wanna complete my analysis regarding this movie and gonna rate it for 5 out of 10 Stars, and I'll warn you to avoid watching it with family, because it's plot is not like that family-friendly and some intimate scenes also present between leading protagonists.

A movie with some kind of magic
When this (Akaash Vani) movie got released, I hadn't yet watched first movie of Luv Ranjan so I was actually unaware about the piece of art he makes. After the suggestion of one of my friend, I gave this a try even after noticing the IMDb rating of 6.3. But wait what? This movie came to me as a surprise.
I can say that the movie may be was ahead of it's time because the whole movie was itself a poem. The circumstances which is not favourable to anyone is pointly and deeply have been shown in the movie.
Luv Ranjan is purely an artistic person and I hope he will keep making such movies.

Really Nice
Very very nice movie. A nice depiction of what happens when two people don't blend in a marriage. This is the story of so many girls who compromise everything for happiness of family and in the process, they tend to lose their individuality, their freedom, their happiness. It is not really supply words but emotions, affections speaks it all. i love the story.... it is amazing!!!!
Akaash and Vani fall in love with each other and continue a 4-year relationship. As their final year comes to an end, Akaash decides to go to UK for his further studies. Vani returns to Dehradun to attend her sister's wedding from where all the bad times start.

Nor cheesy nor classy
I wouldn't have the existence of this film if i didn't browse the wikipedia of karthik aryan. Akshvani comes before the same team of sonu ke titu ki sweety. Luv ranjan as director, karthik as hero, nusrat as heroine and sunny as villain.
It narrates the story of akash and vani who meet in college, become friends and fall in love. After college, akash leaves for higher studies. Vani's life changes when her elder sister elopes with her lover before her wedding day leaving vani's parents embarrassed infront of people. Vani's dad decides to get her married and vani willingly agrees sad seeing him being humiliated. She breaksup with akash and latter is not bothered to convince her. Vani marries ravi and settles with him in a flat in bangalore. Ravi acts very decent outside but privately he always finds fault in every things of vani and harass her and in night gets physical with her. She often leaves to her home and complaints about ravi but they ask her to adjust and send her back to him. One day vani's uncle visits them and asks ravi whether he could send her with him to delhi for few days which he agrees. In delhi, vani gets to meet her old friends and also akash. They enjoy their reunion and love blossoms back of akash and vani. Will vani break the shackles of her abusive marriage? Will akash fight to win her back? That's the story of akashvani.
First act is enjoyable with romance and comedy. But the film gets entirely serious after vani's marriage. It shows many issues but not in a very hardhitting way. Sunny singh performed very well as the sadist husband. Karthik aryan was okay and nusrat was good. On the whole akashvani is partially intense and partially cheesy.
Strictly for people who have been in true love
If not awesome, i will call this movie an almost successful attempt of pointing out the problems of small town lovers. Just to make things clear, a small town love is way different that what we know about growing up in cities. And the lovebirds there are more of love-fugitives. Coming back to the movie, it starts well with college romance with some kool dialogue sequences. Then we have the on-the-verge-of-growing-up decisions. And then we have the dramatic outcome of the decisions. and an OK ending after an expected climax. These points used to be enough for movies to be a blockbuster. But wait, who is talking about 70s here. Movie is just OK for people who understands and have been in love. But on the other hand, it can be a disaster to one who does not give it a thought. I will still give it an 8 for the story and some nice tunes. Alert, you may fall asleep several times if you are not that into love and all those stuffs. ;)

- TriviaOut of the first four films done by Karthik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha, this is the only film where they end up together in the climax.
