Very decent episode of Gravity Falls. Worth to watch.

One of the funniest Gravity Falls episodes

This episode is absolute gold. There's so many great lines in this episode, "I ate a man alive tonight", "I've been twaumatized", "That wasn't like a regular pedestrian was it?", not to mention the scenes with Dipper and Mabel trick or treating as twins isn't just funny, it's adorable as well. The opening scene for this episode is also very funny and one of the best of the series. The monster is also very cool. He's creepy but great at the same time. Overall this is definitely one of the funniest Gravity Falls episodes and is definitely worth watching.

    The worst one so far

I mean it's still decent but compared to the previous episodes, it's easily bottom-tier. The monster was just a Spirited Away rip-off. Yes, a rip-off, not homage because they never make it clear that it was an artistic choice to have the monster remind us of Spirited Away. I am also getting a bit tired of Dipper constantly growing up and leaving Mabel behind and then at the end apologize. It happens almost every single episode. I do however like how they always manage to tie the A and B stories together, this time it was with the candy.

Great Halloween or in is this Case Summerween Episode

Gravity Falls Summerween is Halloween episode & is about Dipper & Mabel Finding out about Summerween From Grunkle Stan. Dipper & Mabel are excited about Summerween but Soos tells them about the Summerween Trickster. Anyway Dipper wants to go to Wendy's Summerween Party But he has to go Trick or Treating with Mabel & Her Friends. Dipper tries to get out of it by being sick but The Summerween Trickster comes & eats a kid. So Dipper & Mabel Dress up in Peanut Butter Jelly Costumes & try to get a lot of candy. I also loved the Subplot with Grunkle Stan Scaring these two kids & heart with Dipper & Mabel realize there getting old For Halloween. Anyway I love this episode & I Give a 10/10. Happy SummerWeen.

    Nice!

This episode is really great. The message about growing up is heartfelt and the monster is great. Two thumbs up!

    • Trivia
The flyer for the party was originally supposed to say "Bottles will be spun." Disney's office of Standards and Practices (S+P) disapproved so Alex Hirsch had to change it. He changed it to "Not S+P approved" as an in-joke.
    • Goofs
When the kids go out Trick-or-Treating, it appears to be just after sunset. Dipper checks his watch, and it says 6:00. However, in eastern Oregon (where the show is set) in June, the sun sets at around 9:30 PM.
    • Quotes

      Dipper Pines: Everyone stay quiet.

Mabel Pines: Oh, now you're worried about the monster! I thought all you cared about was Wendy.

Dipper Pines: Mabel, you know that's not true. just - I felt like I was getting a little too old to go trick-or-treating.

Mabel Pines: That's exactly why we need to go trick-or-treating, Dipper. We're getting older. There's not that many Halloweens left.

Mabel Pines: [Gasps] I guess I didn't realize it was already our last one.
