Loved the episode but couldn't understand why the actress who played Anna didn't receive credit for her performance, nor could I locate her name. Any way to rectify this? Still miss the show after all this time.
I am a big POI fan, loving the edge and humor of each episode. However, last night's One Per Cent was a disappointment. Overall quality was above most everything else on TV right now, but not quite up to POI's excellent standard. I couldn't get into the story until it was almost half done. Even the humor between Mr. Reese and Mr Finch seemed strained. Perhaps that is because the last 4 episodes were so incredible that anything that followed was bound to be a bit of a letdown. Mr. Reese was irritated by the POI, more so than I have noticed him in the past. One of the best scenes occurred between Mr. Reese and Mr. Finch, when John explained to Harold that he was not quite himself because of spending all that time at Rykers, then being captured by Kara, wearing a bomb vest, almost getting blown up, etc. Bear had the mopes as well. Another fun scene was when Mr. Reese, in his roll as a very rich hedge fund manager, bid $10 million of Mr. Finch's money for a box of Einstein's letters to get the POI's attention. We didn't get any reaction shot after the bid, it just dropped. The POI character was really irritating, which he was supposed to be, but there were so many others it got confusing. I wondered who wrote and directed this episode because it was so different from POI normal; if he does anymore episodes he needs to understand that the strength of this show is the depth of the characters, and their interaction with each other. Missed Det. Carter interacting with Mr. Reese - they clearly love each other, but they don't realize it yet, and it has yet to be defined if it is romantic or friend love. Hopefully next episode, on Valentine's Day, will be back to POI standards.
The Machine delivers the number of the reckless self-made billionaire Logan Pierce, who was the son of a bankrupted family. Pierce quitted the college when he founded with his best friend and partner, Justin Ogilvie, the social network friendczar. Now the company will go public in a couple of days, and Pierce has many enemies. Reese tries to approach to Pierce, but it is not easy since he is a mistrustful man and does not respect any rule. Soon Reese tries a different approach.
"One Percent" is one of the weakest episodes of "Person of Interest", with an annoying billionaire protected by Reese and Finch. The plot is not good, and Reese traveling to San Petersburg (Russia) with Pierce is maybe the worst part of the show. The best part could be the revelation of Fusco to Carter of his past, but she interrupts him, and he does not have the chance to disclose to her. My vote is seven.

I couldn't disagree more about the other reviews of this episode. It brought in a new, vibrant, quirky, not unsympathetic character. The episode suggests that we're likely to see more of Logan Pierce. I, for one, would look forward to it. The episode was energetic and refreshing, bringing to an end the Donnelly sequence, that I found overextended.
This show never disappoints, even when they go a bit over the top (two bomb vests?! C'mon.). This episode had a wisecracky kind of humor that was a departure from the stolid punning that Reese and Finch indulge in. The revenge fantasy motif never seems to grow old, does it? Any show that sticks with and uses a character like Lionel Fusco long enough to make him sympathetic is worth watching.

- GoofsThe friction between Fusco and Carter over Carter's investigation of Davidson's dead could be entirely avoided by Fusco telling Carter that Reese was the one who killed Davidson and and that he did so to save another cop's life.
- Quotes
Harold Finch: [concerned about Bear] I read that if there's anxiety in the home, it can make your pets become upset. Have you been under any excess stress?
John Reese: You mean besides being locked in an 11x13 in Rikers and wearing a bomb vest around Manhattan? Not really.
