This animated short was a surprisingly fun take on the Grim Reaper having a very rough day. In this story, Death is given a physical form and human-like vulnerabilities, which sets the stage for some wonderfully absurd situations.
When he tries to collect the soul of a man involved in a traffic accident, things don't go as planned. A wildly unhelpful (but very funny) doctor keeps getting in the way, forcing Death to go to ridiculous lengths just to do his job. The comedic back-and-forth between the three characters is full of energy and feels like a nod to old-school cartoon chaos-think Tom & Jerry, with Death in the role of the constantly foiled Tom.
It's a fast-paced, well-executed short that blends visual humor with sharp timing. Proof that even Death can have a bad (and hilarious) day at the office.
