Goofs
When Mike and Carl are in the diner discussing their respective qualifications as potential detectives, Carl asks Samuel which of the two he would prefer on the case should he be murdered, thrown in the freezer and found several days later "all bloated and covered with frost." If he is thrown in the freezer there would be no decomposition, thus, no bloating.
