This was a truly great ending to one of my favorite shows. now i will admit, since Michael Scott left the show wasn't as good. it was still enjoyable but some of it was disappointing. season 8 though was the most disappointing.... it felt like they barley tried. Season 9 was much better, funny and had some good drama but a few of the story lines they went with were a bit of a disappointment.
but this last episode was amazing! it came full circle.
i love the characters! we watched them really grow up in this show. but what really impressed me was DWIGHT! i have respect for him now. i am very happy with how they ended the show! the story itself was great. the directing was brilliant! Ken Kwapis did a great Job! the acting was spot on. and i don't want to spoil it.... but the cameos are perfect.
i love the ending's to these characters. Except Toby's.
but other then that it's the perfect way to end a epic show! this will be an episode i will remember forever.
goodbye, Office. i will miss you!

We all know the show sort of jumped the shark when Michael left, but I think it regained some sort of interest with the Jim and Pam storyline, and maybe even turned off some faithful viewers. I think the ending that answers all the questions on who's going where and with who and why.
When Michael came back, he was reintroduced in a perfect manner with the classic line we all know he owns.
The Jim and Pam storyline ended satisfyingly, but somewhat predictably.
I just think Toby's life was the only one that didn't end up happier than it was before haha, and maybe that was fittingly so.

The best finale for the best comedy show ever. Loved it. Wow

Television's finest hour and the only fitting conclusion to its greatest decade. For those who have been friends from Season 1, do not watch this with anyone you are not comfortable crying around, because you will. The writers and cast made every moment worth it, creating something much more than comedy. For those just tuning in, STOP. Do not watch this until you have seen the entire series. Trust me when I say that this episode is worth the wait, and the emotions it will evoke transcend TV and comprehension. For the cast and the writers, thank you will never do justice to all the gratitude we feel. It is in this episode that you find out once and for all how much these characters mean to you and what absolute work of art this is and will always be remembered as.
While the season took a deep dive in the post Michael seasons, the last few episodes went back to the roots of the show and for us the original content back. And to top it off we had a finale which was a perfect tribute to the characters that I grew to love over 9 seasons. The last 5 minutes made me emotional which I very rarely am. The best sending off the to the greatest sitcom ever made. Take a bow Greg Daniels.
