Celal and Ceren

I watched this film two days before. I wish i hadn't watched it.

it says that it is a comedy film but when the break time i made myself get out from the cinema saloon with crying. And this was the only film that I can not finish and get out.

After the film Now i am not old me. everything changed. I look to world on a different perspective. i started to look emptiness. i started to eat less. i started to lose my soul. Sometimes I cry behind the door and ask myself: "what did i do my brain?".

The think that i can just say: Don't watch it... Or nothing will be the same again!

It's one of the worst films of the recent years! This guy, Sahan, must thanks God that he lives in Turkey (with 80 millions people) and the main social and cultural activity (or lets say only) in Turkish society is to go to cinema! Otherwise, nobody could take this guys films serious and watch! About the film, it's mainly about two lovers story and it's just a so called comedy film that is based on adventures of those two lovers. The guys tries to use traditional low level humor to attract the audience's attention. Other than 1-2 good jokes and humor, the whole script is based on humor and jokes below the average quality. There is not a strong story and script. If you don't have anything to do and if you are bored and more importantly if you have 5 euros to waste, then you can go and watch this movie.

The movie tells the story of an ugly, chubby womanizer tricking a lovely girl to marry him. Half the movie is a cheap rip-off of the Hangover, the remaining half makes cheesy Hollywood comedies a sight for sore eyes. If you are not from Turkey, you might think "spitting" is a very fun act in Turkish culture because in the movie, the main lead actor spits at every opportunity. The producer must think that this would please the audience. On top of that, Mr. Gokbakar, can not act in scenes where he must be upset and angry. Without the makeup of the previous movies (namely Recep Ivedik series), it is obvious that emotionally difficult scenes is not really his cup of tea.

Overall, this movie is just a waste of time. Not even worth of renting or streaming. Hell, I wouldn't even recommend it to a pirate for downloading :)

I watched the movie yesterday at cinema. My hopes weren't that high but still i was expecting something funny. The movie tells the relationship between a man ( Celal ) and a woman who always fight and they break up, and the things happen. The trailer wasn't that bad but if you are expecting more, don't watch it. The film may make smile teenagers under 16 but again it has many swears for them to watch. Actually I laughed at actor's earlier movies but he always kept giving people the same, so I gave up on that one, a couple of friends asked me if i would suggest them that movie but i wouldn't.

To me, it's very childish and doesn't make sense. But again, we can not argue about tastes..

Let me first summarize the terrible story: Celal, who dreams of achieving happiness as a ladies' man and charmer, soon gets into difficulties and suffers misfortune. Back when Celal was in a relationship, he was jealous of the life of a bachelor. Now he has to face the bitter recognition that this isn't what he wanted and pulls out all the stops to try to get his Ceren back. None of the women he meets have what Ceren had. But he doesn't appreciate her value until she is gone and then pursues her relentlessly. But it's all too late for Ceren. Her heart is broken and won't mend. But Celal refuses to give up, because "everyone has a Ceren"

Now, here are my personal comments: I did not like the movie, I paid 17 TL for nothing. I had much higher expectations from this movie. There was high profanity in the movie, which makes me think that the movie was for men only. Furthermore, the sexual jokes start to get boring after a while; and men are reflected totally wrong in the movie. An additional comment about the jokes is that the sexual jokes are also irritating and they slowly start to mask the story. My final words are that the movie was so horrible that I had to leave in the break. Basically a waste of money, boring, awful and low quality. I don't think that this movie will get much more attention and viewer count. DO NOT GO TO THIS MOVIE, YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!
