Not really Black Mirror, but good nonetheless
I don't really know how to describe this episode. It's set in the 2000's and features two good stories that intertwine. The themes are strong but it's not something that is going to make me ponder life & philosophy through relatability as strongly as other Black Mirror episodes. (White bear, entire history of you, be right back, 15 million merits) etc. Ie the classics.
There's no future tech involved, and the twist at the end is definitely cool, but not like Black Mirror. Feels more like an R rated Twilight Zone episode crossed with myth (you'll know when you watch it).
Is it good? Yes
Is it entertaining? Yes
Is it what I expected from Black Mirror? No
^^ is that good or bad? It depends. I lean more towards bad since I really enjoy the futuristic aspects of Black Mirror.
Kinda disappointed, but good watch.
