Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and Madhavan in Shaitaan (2024)

Review by sumi-mishra-789

Shaitaan

1/10

Acting was good but story and narration itself is terrible.

The trailer was better as a movie than the movie itself. It's like they thought they're a genius for thinking about mind control and just ran with it. 80% of the movie is about how he can control her. And he just keeps on doing and showing that. It's senseless.

As per trailer, yes he can control her mind completely so get on with it and move the story along. But it's literally just that, and 30 Minutes of other stuff.

They didn't really focus on why it was happening or even on saving her. It was literally just 1.5 hours of him controlling her and making her do senseless stuff.

It's like Bollywood has forgotten how to make movies. They failed to establish them has a family, failed to make the audience even care about it and then again failed to establish fear or even anticipation.

After watching it, this can be called a writer's fantasy movie of controlling a teenage girl. Rest was just added as an afterthought to call it a movie.
