I lovely story, realy. But the sarcasm-styled dialogue of the two older guys, was a bit over the top. It's like it was trying too hard, to get the points across. It made the acting staccato-like and abrupt. As if the whole dialogue was written for a cartoon. Perhaps not accidental, given the writers long, succesful career as a cartoonist. It just doesn't seem to work on screen here. I liked the contrast between the boomers and millenials. The millenial's acting was a lot better, and more natural, though. Lovely odysey, as it was. But a bit too simple and naive. Nuances and depth, would have helped.
