North of North

10/10

Loved everything about this

As someone watching this from across the globe, I enjoyed seeing such a unique place and culture get to shine.

The pilot as they often are was not the greatest so I thought it might just be silly and light, but then they hooked me and I was tearing up in the final episode.

Loved the beautiful clothes, the stunning jewelry, the breathtaking scenery and the main characters were incredibly watchable. Loved the occasional side character who was clearly excited about being included in a show.

There was refererence to culture, to elders and to a difficult history and I felt richer for having watched it.

Also special shout-out to the soundtrack, contemporary and native music collaborated and was amazing.

Yay for a second season being greenlit.
