I can now confirm that non-English speakers don't understand Rick and Morty
I signed up just to leave this review. When I check in to see the other person leaving that 2-star review, I didn't think it would be that bad. I assumed it was some Karen offended by Rick and Morty universe.....
That other user was completely right. This anime version of Rick and Morty is most definitely not funny. The layers of humor that you get from the original show is completely lost on whoever conceived of the dialogs in this show in its Japanese version. There is nothing funny. The other user laughed at least once......I frowned and didn't understand what part of this is Rick and Morty.
Even if you are curious, don't watch this if you love Rick and Morty. It will ruin it and wonder who sold out and decided to work on this garbage. I have seen the original episodes at least a dozen times. I love just turning it on from time to time and getting the nuances and jokes that I may have missed. The depth it delivers when they utter stuff out. This has NONE of that. The humor is completely lost. The person that thought of this understood nothing in the original show.
