Nothing about this show is Rick and Morty but a similarity with character looks. The characters are super HARD to even see as the same in the cartoon. If you like the original - you will probably hate this. I won't be watching the rest of this anime series. I DO watch anime too. So don't think I am complaining about this because I don't appreciate the type. This is strictly a bad adaptation or writing. One episode was hard enough to get through. The entire show was butchered, minced, shredded, diced, or whatever you want to use to describe destroying original content to *try* to make somthing else. This show has taken a nose-dive since it was removed from it's creator's hands. I am not sure if there is a money grab here or an attempt to change the core content to appease someone other than this shows fanbase. But it has been hard to watch it fall apart.
