    Meaningful

Very emotional episode for an office fan. Andy true colors come out at the end and it makes you want to never give up in life

    I can't stand Andy.

I hate how Andy is written and how Ed Helms performa as him. He's annoying, unfunny, unlikable stupid and unredeemable. He made this whole episode worse. I don't even get that point of his character. He adds nothing.

    The Finale I wished

This is my favourite episode for the last two-three season, I wouldn't mind this being the finale. The relationship between Pam and Jim is the best in all the Sitcoms ever.

    A closure providing episode

Towards the end of the episode Andy Bernard sings an extremely beautiful song, which touches the heard and soothes the emotions of not only the characters in the show but also the viewer. It will make you change your perceptions regarding Andy, and is a pivot point in his character interpretation.

    CHRIS-TOE-FUR!!!

Andy seems to have morphed into Michael, but at least Dwight is happy.

    • Trivia
The episode was originally scheduled to air in its regular half-hour time slot, but NBC later announced it would be expanded to fill an hour time slot beginning a half hour early, although it still counts as one official episode, similar to the earlier season episode "Moving On". Rogers noted that "we knew the last two episodes would be hour-longs, and The Finale might even end up running longer, but we still had a lot of great storytelling to do leading up to them, and 'Livin' the Dream' was one that ultimately deserved to be an hour long episode as well!"
    • Goofs
When Angela announces that her cats have been taken away, the amount of cat hair on her left sleeve changes from shot to shot. At the end of the scene when she starts to brush off the hair, there is more hair than when she walked into the office.
    • Quotes

Creed Bratton: [Speaking to the camera] I think just about anyone can be a star. My postman, the night janitor here. Andy, no. Definitely not. Charisma black hole.
