Amazing, wishing there was a sequel.
I'm late to the party. But just recently played and finished this over the weekend. The game is incredibly enjoyable, engaging storyline and characters. Wish the game was longer but for the size it gives a great story and gameplay experience. Wish there was a sequel.
Kinda short but definitely not bad
This game isn't bad like many would have you think. Actually, the sole reason I bought it was to see if all the naysayers were right.
They weren't.
The game is visually gorgeous, set in a beautifully crafted industrial / steampunkish London with a set of interesting characters, superb voice acting and an arsenal of interesting weapons. Some characters could definitely use more character development, or more screen time, but that's nothing to mope about.
People often complained about the shortness of this game, and the lack of action. While it is true that the game is a bit short, the lack of action is 100% not true. I just played through the the game and witnessed with my own eyes how action packed it actually is. Honestly, the calm moments where people would just talk and sort things out were sometimes over far too quickly for my taste, so I find THOSE moments lacking, not the action.
Other minor issues I had with it is the lack of lycan / half breed encounters. I hoped to see them more.
In short, don't listen to the negative criticism (especially when they give a 4/10 or lower rating score) and certainly give this game a try. It's interesting, and sets the stage for a possible sequel, which I hope we'll all get to see.

This is what immersive games are about
If you're into totally immersive games with characters you end up caring about this is a great game.
It's got a great twist on some old themes in video games. It was only about £15 when I got it on the PS4 recently well worth the money.

It showed off what the PS4 was capable of from a visual standpoint.
Visually, this game is a masterpiece. As far as the story and gameplay... well, it's nothing to call home about. At the time of release, many of us speculated that this was simply to show off what the PS4 was capable of. I don't hate, but I didn't enjoy it enough to ever go back and play it again. It was a good one-playthrough type of game.
Ammmmmazing
This is one of the best games I ever played and I have been gaming since atari times. What not to like, the amazing soundtrack, game play, graphics, the sacrifice of Melory wehre you need to follow his steps to find the truth, or the beautiful twist of the storyline where actually working for the villains and don't know. People just want to criticize everything! I wish the make a second part of this game. The ending show there is a possibility for a second part. But thanks for your critics they won't!
