I haven't met anyone who didn't like Kerem Sayer...
Excellent. An excellent series! Deep, sharp, logical. A well-chosen team - directing, casting, cinematography. I admire Kerem Bursin's acting, and I want to mention the excellent work of the entire cast. All the actors worked well together and played well. That's the case when there's not a single character you don't believe.
There are several storylines in the series. The main thing is the development of relations between Kerem Sayer and Zeypep. Illogical and spontaneous decisions, heartache, and dangerous games are all in this tandem. Sometimes I thought, you're stupid, what are you doing! But remember yourself at the age of 18 - the whole world is for us and the whole world is against us - natural swings at this age. And the actors brilliantly showed these struggles and growing up.
In parallel, there is a story about the relationship between Kerem and Zeynep's peers. The actors of the series played such diverse characters with their own story that you empathize with everyone no less than the main serial couple. And you sincerely wish every hero a logical outcomethe (and not always cloudless) ending.
The gorgeous bromance of Sayer (Kerem Bursin) and Axel (Ozan Osmanpashaoglu) deserves special attention. Equal rivals, the wounded teenagers came together in a battle of characters and minds. Watching them play on the edge, changing the roles of "enemy-friend-enemy" is a special pleasure. And, in my opinion, it was Sayer and Axel who were characterized by real male actions in the series. I can't say the same about the adult characters.
In addition to the theme of love and friendship, the series raises the acute topic of the relationship between teenagers and parents. I recommend watching it for every parent. It's easy to create a personal hell "for the benefit" of your own child! They hung up red flags, cornered them, and dusted off their hands. I would have whipped all the adults without exception. Honestly.
I haven't met anyone who didn't like Kerem Sayer. But I met many people who hated Melis (Yagmur Tanrisevsin), and was not happy with the choice of an actress for the main role (Hande Dogandemir). If you haven't watched the series, I envy you very much. Look, the conclusions are yours.

A wonderful series about first love, but not only...
I have re-watched this wonderful series many times. I am delighted with the acting of all the characters, the chemistry between Hande Dogandemir and Kerem Bursin is so strong that it can be felt through the screen. The series raises many sensitive topics, such as the relationship between parents and children, first love, true friendship and enmity. Despite the fact that the series is about teenagers and school, people of all ages enjoy watching it and everyone finds something useful in it for themselves. As in any Turkish series, there are some bloopers in the script, but they all pale in comparison to its advantages. I definitely recommend watching it and warn you that you will have many sleepless nights, because it is impossible to tear yourself away from it.
One of my forever favorite series ✨
One of my favorite series ever I watched it more than 8times and I highly recommend it Kerem's acting is phenomenal.
MUST BE SEEN!!!
Is one of the first Tv works that Kerem
did once he came back to Turkey from
USA- I have to say that I remained deeply touch with his acting!!! No words to say that they rest of the actors are amazing too!! Direction and the script is also perfect - The stories between the studenta and their own parents are crossed in a wise developement and that Tv show reflects life aspects such respect for the familiy, loyalry to friends, and even problems that schoolars could have as bulling or food disorders- For all of that is a good tv show and a good telection to watch in summer period- Highly recommended.
The true masterpiece of Turdizi
The series "Waiting for the Sun" is a true masterpiece of Turdizi, and today it excites millions of viewers' hearts all over the world.
Kerem broke into the world of Turkish cinema, playing his first role in Turkey in this series.
He played in such a way that to this day no one has been able to create something equal in terms of the power of the game and the emotions evoked.
His character Kerem Sayer is a young man, a lonely rebel, suffering, deprived of parental love, who has lived away from home for a long time, but who loves those who don't care about him!
He finds an outlet in his arrogant behavior and disobedience to the general rules and laws prevailing at the school founded by his family, becoming in fact the unspoken arbiter of the fate of all who study at it.
And at the same time, inside he is a very devoted, kind and caring person with those who show the same feelings for him.
This guy has so many contradictions that sometimes they bring him unbearable mental pain and suffering.
His usual way of life collapses with the arrival of a new student, Zeynep.
A girl who grew up in the countryside, saw little in her life, and was raised by one mother. But she's also a rebel who's ready to defend her point of view, hates lies, and loves her mother very much.
And now these two are dating.
And the inevitable begins to happen.
First, there was burning mutual hatred, and then the most incredible, most sincere, and greatest mutual love.
A lot will happen in their lives.
There will be mistakes, misunderstandings, losses, betrayals of friends and family. Rethinking the meaning of life and searching for the truth.
They'll grow up.
They will become different.
But the main thing that will remain in each of them forever is love for each other.
