People Are Writing Caption Best Movie Great Movie It's Completely Waste Of Time Movie Overrated Overacting Unlogical Story Made Joke On Serious Sport In Starting Looks Something Different Bu After 15 Min Of It's Look Like Waste On Time Worst Acting Worst Screenplay And Direction Worst Movie Ever Watched.
First the movie started with the fun and it was good till the twist for interval. After interval the director had taken the match without logics and finally Peter had won the final because of his love
Positives- Due to SK the movie was so entertaining and fun
Negatives- rather than SK everything was such a holy crap
This movie cannot be seen by the boxing lovers but due to SK it was somehow watchable
For SK:8/10
For the crap storyline :5/10
Totally 6/10
i don't think it is a boxing or sports promotional film. peter and his funny movements in boxing was so funny. he shows mann karate ( run for save life) to all of them. i watched some portions of the film again and again. it's worth of watching. haters , f*** you!!!! . but it is not fare because in this film Peter learns karate in last night before the game!!! that was F****** unbelievable. and the climax is similar to M kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi !!!. it's songs are good and the performance of Anirudh was good in the song "open the tasmac". overall it is a good entertainer to watch and worh of money.
Storyline Four IT professionals who are on an outdoor trip meet a hermit inside a jungle, who predicts the future by giving them a leading Tamil newspaper which is going to be printed four months later. Going by the news in the daily, they track down Peter (Siva Karthikeyan) a normal middle-class guy who is supposed to win Rs 20 million in the Tamilnadu boxing championship after four months and sign an agreement. Peter who doesn't know anything about boxing is sponsored by these people who train him for the match. Meanwhile, Peter meets Yazhini (Hansika) in a mall and it is instant love for him and in lighting speed she reciprocates. Finally, Peter has to defeat the menacing Killer Peter(Vamsi) in the finals.

Sivakarthikeyan's Maan karate has got nothing fresh in the story, romance, comedy and logic.
Plot: It is the usual repeated cliché of Tamil cinema where the hero takes up sport for love and without struggle he wins at last. Here it's an over rated and excess melodrama. The movie has mixed the plot concepts of Rajini's "Baba" and Ravi's "M.Kumaran" and some portions from "Ethir neechal". At last giving as a mixed cinema which fails to engage or entertain. The comedy crackers what we expect from Siva was less in this movie. Towards the end it was dragging and boring.
Cast: Siva as Peter has failed to meet his current over-hyped status and makes us feel like he was better in VPVS, Ethir Neechal and Marina. Hansika Motwani as Yazhini who has considerably lost weight and comes with her new looks as a doll and nothing much to act. The chemistry did not seem to be working as well. Other cast which includes Sathish and his friends were used in the story track considerably. Soori and Shayaji shinde were not used properly and were unnecessary inclusions. Vamsi Krishna as the usual opposite villain boxer looses the match after his years of practice to his opponent who does not even know boxing is sports. Overall it is a below average Rom-Com flick. Watch it if you are die hard Siva fan miss it otherwise.

Well what can I say about this brainless script. It would be a cross to bear for the boxing fans/ white collar boxers. I, being a huge fan of Rocky series and of course Raging Bull could not get through the boxing sequences in this movie (eg.. there ain't one good contender for the palooka-protagonist in a boxing tournament). Also there was a heavy inspiration of Chaplin's Boxer movie, yet was not up to the mark.
I must admit that there is still a fair quantity of humor in the script especially in the first half which I did laugh out loud. The comedy at the boxing tournament were also laughable but I felt like the director made the whole tournament as a joke and so the Indian Boxing club. The Climax was horrible with nasty sentiments that totally knocked out the good essence.
My verdict : If you are a classy movie viewer than stone-wall the movie at all costs. If you wanna just have some laughs the n watch it (Don't analyze anything) If you are a school kid and a huge-fan of the actor, you may love it
