I admit, I almost didn't watch this movie because of all of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad I watched it. Was it Oscar worthy? Not in my opinion ... However, it tackles a complicated subject and works hard to give voice to how millions of Americans feel as they move through this country everyday. Not everyone will get it, and most won't want to. That's ok ... Let those who have ears hear.

I thought the acting was superb, and the satire will require some critical thinking. Admittedly, this won't be everyone's cup of tea ... but, regardless of your race, if you can not only listen, but try to "hear" someone else's perspective, you'll get it.
