Tsubasa Oribe: U-Umm... Are you... our training instructor?
Barry Goodman: SHUT UP! I'm still doing my signature pose!
Tsubasa Oribe: S-Signature pose...?
Barry Goodman: Here it comes...! In a world of terrible singing, only one man can make it sound good again! Barry Goodman has arrived!
Tsubasa Oribe: ...I'm... Tsubasa Oribe... sir. It'll be a pleasure to work with you.
Barry Goodman: Okay, Tsubasa! Got it! You can call me Barry.
Tsubasa Oribe: Okay, Barr- Wait, Barry Goodman...?
Itsuki Aoi: Someone you know?
Tsubasa Oribe: Maybe. I remember a Barry Goodman was one of the guitarists at Kiria's live concert a few years back. Apparently, he was a famous guitarist for a famous American rock band, and his solo albums sold millions... But... that Barry Goodman was a lot more athletic-looking than him... so it's probably a different person...
Barry Goodman: Hahaha! Afraid not, Tsubasa. You're lookin' at him.
Tsubasa Oribe: What? How much weight exactly did you put on?
Itsuki Aoi: Tsubasa!
Tsubasa Oribe: O-Oh! I-I'm- I'm so sorry!
Barry Goodman: Don't worry about it. The little lady's got a point! Barry Goodman's just a Merry Fatman now. Yeah, that's all in the past now...

Barry Goodman: All right, kid, you're up next. Name, please!
Itsuki Aoi: I'm Itsuki Aoi. Nice to meet you.
Barry Goodman: Maiko told me to give lessons to some rookies. And anyone who enters this studio starts out a rookie!
Itsuki Aoi: I'll try my best!
Barry Goodman: Good answer. I'm pretty in the zone today! All right, we'll train three times faster and tougher than normal!
Itsuki Aoi: Three times normal...? Do we really have to?
Barry Goodman: What, you don't know? Today's the release date for a figure from the best anime ever, "Dia Witch Iroha"! And they've only got a couple limited editions that come with a special bonus! Gah, I gotta get there on time!
Itsuki Aoi: O... kay?
Barry Goodman: What, you got something to say? I'm not allowed to be a fanboy? HUH?
Itsuki Aoi: I-I didn't say anything!
Barry Goodman: If I can't buy the limited edition, my life is OVER! So I need you guys to cooperate and finish this quick!
Itsuki Aoi: ...
Barry Goodman: If we don't make it out in time, Itsuki... I'll just make you get in line with me!
Itsuki Aoi: I-I got it! Triple speed's fine by me!
Barry Goodman: Maiko asked me to give you the full boot-camp experience. Honestly though, I'd say triple speed still isn't enough. All right... You better prepare yourselves, rookies!

Barry Goodman: [after Barry gives Tsubasa voice lessons] NO! How many times do I gotta tell you? I can't feel an ounce of your soul in your singing! IF you're gonna howl and wail, get in the alley with the dogs! Listen, Tsubasa. My training can help your voice. But, you think you're gonna move anyone sinign' like that?
Tsubasa Oribe: No...
Barry Goodman: 'Cause that's what I'm hearin'! Keep singin' like that, and there'll be no point puttin' you on a stage! You're an entertainer now, Tsubasa - a professional! People are gonna pay big money to see you perform! You need to understand what it means to be a professional. If you can't do that, quit now and get outta showbiz!
Tsubasa Oribe: I can't do that! I need to find my sister. I have to...
Barry Goodman: I don't give a damn about your reasons! All you're doing right now is singing for yourself! I can't feel any message you're tryin' to put into it!
Tsubasa Oribe: For myself? Then how do I... put a message within my song...?
Barry Goodman: I can't just GIVE you the answer! You gotta figure that out! You gotta feel it within you! And you! Itsuki! Don't just brush this off as Tsubasa's problem. I'm talkin' to you too.
[Barry turns and looks at Itsuki]

Barry Goodman: [Itsuki watches Barry and Tsubasa talk to each other] You gotta learn to dance with muscle memory! If you think about it too much, you're not gonna be able to sing too!
Tsubasa Oribe: G-Got it!
Barry Goodman: Awright, stop. That'll do for today!
Tsubasa Oribe: Oh, Itsuki.
[Tsubasa turns around and notices Itsuki and runs up to him]

Itsuki Aoi: [If the player chooses option 1] Hey, Tsubasa.
Tsubasa Oribe: Did you come to watch my practice?
Itsuki Aoi: Yeah. Looks like you're working really hard.
Tsubasa Oribe: Mhm. After all that stuff with Aya, I just feel like a huge weight's been lifted off my shoulders... I'm enjoying every moment of dancing and singing, now!
[Barry reappears and talks to them]
Barry Goodman: Tsubasa's improved a whole ton from before! Going by Dia Witch terms, I'd say I'd rank her at abooouuut... episode seven.
Itsuki Aoi: I... have no idea what that means.
Barry Goodman: SHIT! Well, anyhow, I'd say you're good to go now. Oh my god! I just remembered! Tomorrow's the Dia Witch game release date! The preorder bonus... is calling out to me...! I have to hurry and get in line for the midnight release! All aboard the hype train! Choo choo!
[Then Barry runs out of the room]
