BOMAN IRANI HAS DONE IT AGAIN
The Mehta Boys" is a cinematic masterpiece that deserves global recognition and awards! This film is an absolute must-watch, and I cannot recommend it enough. It resonated so deeply that I found myself laughing and crying towards the end-a testament to its powerful storytelling.
Boman Irani, you are a genius! The way this film balances emotion, humor, and raw human connections is nothing short of brilliant. Every performance was incredibly moving-from Avinash, Shreya, and Puja to the entire supporting cast. It's so refreshing to see a film that focuses on real, raw talent instead of star kids, bringing us performances that feel authentic, effortless, and deeply impactful.
The writing, the direction, the cinematography-everything about The Mehta Boys makes you feel like you're watching something truly special. It's cinema with heart, the kind of storytelling we desperately need more of.
This isn't just a movie; it's an experience. It makes you reflect on family, relationships, and the emotions we often suppress. It deserves to be taken worldwide because stories like this deserve to be seen and celebrated everywhere.

Struggle of life - classic story
Nice script but the screen play was great
Top notch direction & acting
Casting looks just perfect
A must watch movie.
Locations looked great and realistic The car driving scene was realistic .
Interesting thing was , every closed looks taken looked very much relative and realistic.
No doubt the director did a great job. Hotel scene was made great. Usually overacting happens in this kind of storyline but this case was very fine. Every character ensured that only the required acting is done.
The office room scene was also fine , the boss character did a great job. The casting was great for the boss. Only suggestion was to make the daughter character a bit more detail.
Overall a great picture.

Father-Son Cinema That Actually Gets It Right
Watching The Mehta Boys with my teenage son felt like the perfect choice for a Sunday... this 48-hour father-son odyssey resonated deeply whilst avoiding the usual melodramatic pitfalls.
Boman Irani's directorial debut is genuinely masterful, showcasing his versatility beyond acting into skilled direction and writing.
Both Irani and Avinash Tiwary deliver excellent performances, managing to showcase authentic emotions as two men try to understand each other. Irani brings quiet dignity to the aging father struggling with independence, whilst Tiwary captures the frustration of a son who loves but doesn't quite understand his dad. Their chemistry feels genuinely lived-in rather than manufactured.
The understated writing coupled with the acting performances makes this essential viewing for those who appreciate slice-of-life storytelling. What could have been predictable father-son territory instead sweeps you off your feet with nuanced character development and authentic dialogue.
My son didn't say much afterwards, but I caught him processing certain moments... which, knowing teenagers, suggests the film properly connected. Irani crafts a visually stunning movie that respects both generational perspectives without taking sides.
Rating: 8/10 (Beautifully observed family drama that proves parent-child films can be sophisticated and moving)

Good heartwarming story
This story revolves around the relationship between a father and his son, who has long parted ways in terms of home and ideology. However, both of them yearn to settle their differences and shine in each other's eyes.
The roles played by Boman Irani and Avinash Tiwary are just superb. They fit the characters very well. Their demeanor helps to portray the differences between this father-son duo. But will they reconcile and be a happy family together?
That's the crux of the movie. Though the story is quite heartwarming, the directorial choices are quite debatable. It starts with a very slow approach, which could have been totally avoidable. Yet, I would recommend this movie to any person who has/had a beef with their parents and hope this will shed some light on their relationship.
