    Must watch for kdrama lovers

This one left an indelible mark on the genre. This captivating series effortlessly combines romance, drama, and a touch of melodrama to create an unforgettable viewing experience.

The stellar ensemble cast, including Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye, brings their characters to life with depth and charisma. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, drawing viewers into their emotional journey and making them invest in the unfolding relationships.

Set against a backdrop of opulence and privilege, it offers a window into the lives of the wealthy elite, complete with all the glamour and intrigue that entails. The lavish settings and fashion choices add to the allure, creating a visual feast for the audience.

While the drama incorporates some familiar tropes, it does so with a fresh and engaging approach. The narrative weaves together themes of love, friendship, and personal growth, making it a compelling watch for fans of both romance and character-driven stories.

It has earned its place in the pantheon of classic kdramas, leaving an enduring legacy due to its memorable characters, evocative storytelling, and unforgettable romantic moments. If you're in search of a series that has stood the test of time and continues to captivate audiences, this drama is a must-watch that will whisk you away into a world of romance and intrigue.

    So Much To Say...

Bro...this show. I mean what the heck have I watched??

In terms of a weak female lead character, my god!! She cries in every single episode, she's pushed around in every other episode, usually has no backbone and yet is completely watchable. I know, I know...Korean shows usually have this type of female lead and it's not anything new but I just can't move on from how she was treated and yet still she took it all. I suppose in a way, she wasn't weak at all then.

Despite this, I truly did like this one. The male lead character is the main reason why, he REALLY fights for this girl. That's what made this so addictive, I just wanted to see how far he would go.

Woo Bin was also great as the bad guy with a good heart, he annoyed me but then impressed me. Great acting.

I would recommend it but only if you like the older style dramas like Coffee Prince or Personal Taste.

    It is just okay

The story is pretty predictable and non realistic. This evolves with a family melodrama having two mother, of course, the one and only son from mistress along with school bullying later falling both of the guy falling with love with female lead. Pretty absurd! Then two guys trying their best to get the female lead, kind of competing against each other with unnecessary dragging.

I really hate why in every K-Drama a girl has be a poor girl living from hands to mouth and a boy has to be super rich with lots of family problems.

    Do I like you?

I rewatched the beginning episodes a few times. At the theatre when they were resting from chasers, Kim Tan turns his head toward Cha Eun Sang , then 'kills' with the line, " Do I like you? ", with a look that dares you not to like him. Can't get enough of that look. I think Lee Min Ho is at his best when he is a bit dangerous, unpredictable, as in City Hunter. In Heirs, the actors were more college age than high-school. Not sure why they the plot called for high-schoolers, but then, I'm not sure if in Korea, it is likely for a maid's daughter to be able work her way through college, But it didn't bother me with the story line. In all, this was an enjoyable movie to get to know Korean drama and Lee Min Ho. I am a new fan from New York.

    Emotional

I am not sure if it really deserves 10 stars or if it is only my enthusiasm, but I didn't have in a long time a TV show that would keep me dreaming about it at night and not being ale to stop it. I did not have the patience to read all the reviews but i have so many comments that I don't even know where to start. First, I consider this being such a powerful and emotional lesson for all of us, no matter the age. People should really try hard on learning how to grow up, how to express their feelings, how to laugh even though you are in a bad situation and how to get over that bad situation with dignity and more knowledge about you and about others. From my point of view, this is not only a teenage drama since a lot of people in the world are still not able to do all the mentioned above things. The TV show also shows you the power of extreme friendship, not only love power to forgive and to care, power to accept who you are and to accept others. I've seen in a comment that it is sexist because it is the well known subject of strong male character and weak female character, but guess what ? That's the reality in Korea and in other Asian countries, guys. Women have very not even half of the power and benefits of the men. Yeah, if you want to watch a SF drama with a superhero girl, just move over this title. It is not time for K dramas to adapt to the 21st century as some said below, but it's time for Asian cultures to respect women more strongly and to recognize them. Also, people said that the actors to not look like 18 year old students. Guys, really? If you watch an American TV show with teenagers you will be surprised how the 16 year old girl look like and behave in these days. Korean actors from my point of view, all look like teenagers and they are very beautiful at the same time. To conclude, even though I have a lot more to say but I think it's better to stop here, don't hesitate to watch this movie, especially if you like romantism.
