Best Episode Of Season 9 So Far...

I am currently rewatching the series in 2022, when I haven't seen these episodes since they were airing in 2013. The first 8 episodes of Season 9 were mostly average (some good ones some boring ones). But Platonish was by far the best so far.

This episode was fantastic and a great blast from the past. Lily & Robin giving Barney challenges was hilarious, Barney picking up girls talking like a dolphin was also very funny. Ted stealing the Blue French Horn again. And Last but most importantly we saw how Barney met Tracey (The Mother).

This episode is a great demonstration of why I love "How I Met Your Mother"

Trivia
When Barney enters the booth and says "No two single people in the world are ever platonic" and then pauses before saying "Symposium," he is making a subtle reference to the Greek philosopher Plato and one of his most influential works, 'Symposium'.

Goofs
Both times that Ted and Hammond Druthers talk on the phone, the view from Druthers window is a continuous repeat of the same shot as the same car can be seen crossing the street over and over again.
