I will go further. This was comparable To James Agee's Lincoln (OMNIBUS) Orson Welles' The Fountain of Youth, The greatest episodes of The Twilight Zone and the Honeymooners, Marty, Patterns, The Comedian, Twelve Angry Men, Sam Peckinpah's Noon Wine (And "Line Camp" from The Westerner, , The Fabulous Fifties, the Chief Dan George episode of Kung Fu, "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" and "Postmodern Prometheus" (Kung Fu)My World and Welcome To it, "Fall-out" (The Prisoner) and the best routines of Ernie Kovacs. This episode didn't just PUSH the envelope: It BROKE IT.
"The Crossing" is one of the best and certainly the saddest episode of "Person of Interest. Carter dying on Reese's arm is very dramatic, and Reese will certainly regret for not killing Simmons when he had the chance in previous episodes. Now the viewer will see how the death of Carter will affect the show, mostly Reese who admired her. The rest of the episode is full of action and twists, and very enjoyable. My vote is ten.

- TriviaThis is the sixth time in the series Reese takes a bullet (including flashbacks).
- GoofsWhen HR takes a photo of Reese using a dashboard camera it comes out very blurry and pixelated but when they distribute the photo to their friends, the picture is pretty clear.
- Quotes
Sameen Shaw: What kind of cop doesn't use a vertical deadbolt?
Detective Lionel Fusco: What the hell? Where'd you come from?
Sameen Shaw: It doesn't matter. It's where we're going that's important. Grab your gun, Lionel.
Detective Lionel Fusco: Let me guess, Mr. Congeniality's in some kind of trouble.
Sameen Shaw: You could say that. Reese and Carter nabbed the head of HR. They need a little help escorting him into FBI custody. You ready?
Detective Lionel Fusco: I don't care who you are. You break into my house again, you're gonna be sorry.
Sameen Shaw: I'm already sorry. I'm gonna have to listen to your whiny ass all the way into Queens.
Detective Lionel Fusco: Me? You know the dog's the only one that likes you, right?
