a sad attempt at a reality show
The explotation of these animals is abhorrent. I am an animal lover so my opinion and beliefs say to keep these intelligent animals in a better environment - one that is more natural than a woman's compound. I do appreciate her commitment and love of these beasts, however, it is just so depressing to see how they live and now exploited by a "reality" series. This is not reality for the primates, it is simply wrong.
MAX as the presentation platform, might need to reconsider these tasteless shows and seek better quality options for the viewers.
No one needs to see primates in this atmosphere as we all know, many who view this type of program tend to believe it is OK to trap wild animals and treat them in ways that are not innate in the wild world.
The only two positive things(and there are no disclaimers by the producers) are: it shows how twisted people can be and how they distort animal care and preservation. It also so how low "reality shows" have debased the viewers by creating programs that continually dumb down content.
