    Hetty's still watching!...

For me Michelle Trachtenberg is the standout of the show (with good support from Ruah, Ferrer, Palladino and the rest of the regulars). But then I'm biassed: her performance receiving the news of her mother's death in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode "The Body" sticks in my mind as the finest non-vocal performance I have ever seen. It reduces me to tears every time I watch it. I see that much of her recent career has been voice parts. I hope that she does not forget the talent she has in projecting emotions in person. As for this particular episode, it was good to see that Hetty is still mothering her brood, whatever the other signs may say.

    • Trivia
Lily's helpful canine companion, Bubba, is a Belgian Malinois shepherd dog, a working breed often used in law enforcement for such tasks as the detection of odors. The US Secret Service uses Malinois dogs to protect the grounds of the White House. They are also used as ordinary police K-9s in several countries. Navy SEALS use them as combat assault dogs (CADS). Their bite isn't as strong as that of a German Shepherd but the Malinois is generally seen as healthier, smarter and faster. They're also fiercely loyal, obedient, and agile.
    • Goofs
Nobody is stupid enough to watch their dog suddenly come to attention, start growling, and run directly at a target, and just mock it for being a sulky baby. Especially not a dog like Bubba, whose breed is primary used for protection. The bang of the front door should also have been an indication that something was seriously wrong; not present a brain teaser of how a dog opened the door.
    • Quotes

      G. Callen: I know my food.

Lily Lockhart: Oh yeah? What'd you have last night?

      G. Callen: A burger.

Lily Lockhart: OK. Do you know the cow's name?

      G. Callen: Mac.

      G. Callen: And he was "big".
