Lighten up people!
I literally laugh out loud every episode. As mentioned in the comments, it's a light-hearted drama-nothing too serious and sometimes downright ridiculous. But it's one of those feel-good shows that brighten your day. For the past eight weeks, it's been such a joy to watch every Wednesday and Thursday. I enjoyed every minute of My sweet mobster; what an awesome cast, great job Uhm Tae Goo and Han Sunhwa and the Thirsty deer team!. You all did a great job with this. I really hope for a season 2 so I can look forward to more laughs and fun. Some people in the review section need to lighten up, jeez!

A Refreshingly Light-Hearted Rom-Com
Some of you are writing a whole dissertation on this light-hearted rom-com, "My Sweet Mobster." It's not supposed to be a deep, plot-heavy show with intense analysis. Sometimes, it can just be good fun and light, and that's it! We don't always need to go deep, and I believe that's exactly what the producers and directors intended: a fun and light-hearted rom-com.
"My Sweet Mobster" delivers just that. The quirky chemistry between the leads, the unexpected twists, and the charming humor make it a delightful watch. If you're looking for good belly laughs mixed with some fun action and light romance, this is for you. It's a refreshing break from more intense dramas, perfect for unwinding. It ain't for everyone, but if you want to enjoy a feel-good story with a touch of whimsy, give it a try!

Exceeding all the expectations
It's a romcom with very unusual cast I'd say. Um tae goo being the coolest gangster yet a softie is a delight to watch. The cinematography, story, acting, cast everything is topnotch. A romcom with 80% comedy and 20% romance lol..and ofc if there's um tae goo there will be action. The father-son relationship, childhood connection (not those irritating ones), power conflict all these plot made this drama even more interesting. Every character having thier own story but not dragging it too much was very refreshing. Loved Han Sunhwa's character as well. Her job as a kid's content creator was perfect for her character Eunha. Overall this one's absolutely worth it!!
When you started watching a romcom just for fun, but it turned out to be deeper than you expected.
I truly enjoyed watching this drama. Initially, I had low expectations, but it pleasantly surprised me in the best possible way. The show was warm, funny, and incredibly adorable, making it a delightful watch from start to finish. My favorite aspect was the main couple-their chemistry was extraordinary and unique, setting them apart from typical on-screen pairs. They brought so much heart and authenticity to their roles, creating moments that were both touching and hilarious. The way their relationship developed felt natural and engaging, keeping me invested in their story throughout. I will genuinely miss seeing them together on screen, as their dynamic was one of the highlights of the drama. This show exceeded my expectations and left a lasting impression on me.
Super cute, hated when things got real
This show unfortunately is very uneven now that I've finished it. I would say 2/3 of the show is light, heartwarming, sweet which I loved and then there's 1/3 that's just crime, mob stuff, prosecutors and randomly a LOT of interrogation room scenes which I hated lol. That said, the cast was full of great lovable characters from the main leads to the reformed mobsters, I loved it when they got into shenanigans usually related to their job, or their home life. The little community they've built is so cute and they embraced the female lead into their little rat pack very quickly which made me like them even more. I would compare this feeling I'm feeling to when I finished Wedding Impossible or Serendipity's Embrace, I wasn't wowed but I was entertained.
