Fan Bingbing's superb acting skills, captivating audiovisual language, and photography techniques make up this movie.
The film indeed requires some viewing threshold, and it may be somewhat challenging for ordinary audiences to understand. This is because the audiovisual language and intentional expression within it are closely related to the nationality and history of that era. If you are not familiar enough, it is easy to get caught in a whirlpool of confusion and not understand. This can be considered a minor flaw, but if you have a deeper understanding of that part of history and some folk customs, you will be able to comprehend the film and even be deeply moved by it.
Fan Bingbing's unparalleled acting skills weave the plot of the entire movie together. The first half is natural and captivating, resembling a documentary, very lifelike and realistic. The second half is full of dramatic tension, making viewers shed tears. There are several brilliant passages of acting that are as profound as still waters, eliciting admiration. This actress has been making continuous progress and fully defending her honor as an international film queen.
There may be some minor flaws in other aspects, but I really like it. At the very least, this movie is sincere.
