      Trend Setter

This movie is awesome. Congratulations Jaami, Shaan and crew. you guys have done a great job with a trend setter movie for the revival of Pakistani cinema. now everybody is finger crossed on box office matter. It cost you 10 crore, I am telling you get ready to be doubled. Competing Bang Bang is not Kidd thing. Look at your reviews and your ranking. You are going above 8. So keep making films like that, Keep making Pakistan proud, keep helping Pakistani film industry with your creativity and innovation. say bye bye to Indian movies and we'll develop our own proud Lolly wood. SHAAN has become symbol of Pakistani film industry. he said be Pakistani and buy Pakistani. He has got what he was waiting for. In addition to that, there are some cinemas which are unfortunately showing only Bang Bang instead of NMA and o21. This needs to be changed.Anyhow keep rocking and keep working on this cause Good Luck

      Enthrilling and Bold!

Operation 021 is a pleasant surprise for the cinema audience. The film makers have simply blown my expectations. What a production! With this feature Jami has outdone himself. This is a true cinematic experience, to behold. The movie exceeded my expectations in terms of action, and entertainment. The editing, sound, score, visuals, direction and action are all top notch.

The film contains a fine cast of talented actors. What sets this film apart is that it had a genuine emotional heartbeat. The cast is completely engrossing, as they have given such a powerful performance. The dynamic scenes between the actors are so well done, incredibly well written, and impeccably directed by Jami. Operation O21 is emotionally riveting and amazing to watch. During the whole film there is 'never' a dull moment, which is pretty impressive. The entire time I was on the edge of my seat. The movie's action sequences are spectacularly well created and very intense. The dialogue between the character's are intelligent and highly believable. The movie's soundtrack is terrific and really exemplifies many of the movie's scenes which are extremely well tailored and really helped develop many of the movie's action sequences.

In conclusion, this film is a gorgeous reminder that great writing and direction can enhance a movie experience, even Pakistani movies, which are usually thought of as mindless entertainment. I am wholly satisfied with the O21 team's vision, Azaan's writing and Jami's flawless direction and I thank everyone who worked on this film, for bringing such an intricate interpretation of its entertaining and thrilling literary source. This movie certainly raises the bar from a Pakistani stand point. This is the kind of work and dedication that needs to proceed forward, if we are to revive the Pakistani Film Industry. 10/10

Welcome to Pakistan, my friend !!

"We live like this, this is how men live !!" It was class, the flow was awesome, i mean i was amazed the story was so different !! BRAVO !! Actually it was about LITHIUM reserves in Afghanistan and how Americans are trying to steal it because it will be the next Big Thing in the history of mankind after oil and how CIA and other agencies want their Company to get mining contracts and playing Afghans and Pakistanis, also how and why Pakistan is part of this plan of Americans. AND to be honest this movie was for intellectuals not for them who watch and clap in Utho Jago Pakistan or at Bollywood dances !! Level: yea close to Hollywood, no doubt it had lags but it was a great effort !!

Combo of best script and quality Pakistan has ever delivered.Waar seems to be somewhat substandard.

.Do you like films that give you lots of "What the F*** moments"? Have lots of action? Lots of thrill? A heavy plot? Are dark? Give you something to think about? Give you goosebumps? Come on Guys.People saying its lame obviously didn't understood. To date it was the most powerful script Pakistan has ever delivered.Unlike Waar which was action driven story and meaningless at the the end. O21 is story driven action and leaves the audience thinking on its ending.Direction and quality is topnotch still better than Waar ,music screenplay everything. The Delivery is beautifully structured over a timeline giving goosebumps every now and then. The only reason a small fraction of people are not liking it is because its bitter truth or some are morons who didn't understand. Not the regular social drama, masala and item song drama that is in demand. For the first time we have our own voice. And it sure as hell is gonna shake some floors.

When the movie ended , I vowed to never watch any Indian or Hollywood movie in cinema ever again.Thats enough to say how good this movie was .Proud Pakistani today

This has started a new chapter in our Film Industry

After watching Operation - 021, I can proudly say that Yes!, Pakistani Film industry has revived! A well developed, subtle piece of cinema which could be compared to the Foreign cinema. Yes, I felt during the movie that I was watching a Hollywood production with a European touch to it.

O21 is not your conventional commercial movie. It has layers, a depth to it. An art house cinema feel to it. If you lose your focus during the movie because you were too lazy to read the subtitles or understand what the character are saying, it's you to blame not the movie. One thing I loved about the movie is that there was no spoon feeding. Audience should be mature enough to understand what's going on. If you can figure out the possible setting then sorry to say you're not mature enough to watch the movie. Indian Masala movies have seriously ruined everyone's mind. Those atrocious movies have taken away their ability of thinking and analyzing. Cinema is not just for 'Entertainment', It's a much broader medium. If you think watching Item songs and ridiculous action sequences is what cinema is then.....No it's not. Cinema is much beyond that.

Hats off to Jami Mahmood One Motion Pictures and others for brining this movie from paper to screen. I could see the efforts, the great efforts behind it. Direction was brilliant. You can see the potential of this guy and know what this guy visions. Screenplay was compelling, particularly in the second half. Parallel structure reminded me of Alejendro Inarritu Gozalez. Soundtrack was on par with Hollywood. Cinematography was beautiful. Each and every frame was well thought and stunningly shot. Art direction was done with precision and Acting, especially by Ayub Khoso, Hameed Sheikh and Joe Towne were Outstanding. Some of the negatives: There were problems with the dialogues, it was difficult to hear what the characters were delivering and I had to rely on the subtitles. and syncing at few places was out. The fight sequence before the climax was badly choreographed and badly, wish it was up to the mark to make it more impactful.

Overall, An intelligent movie which was definitely not for Commercial films lovers who want over the top songs, dances and action sequences. Anyone who likes a sensible movie would appreciate it. Thanks to Jami and team for bringing this to us. This has started a new chapter in out Film Industry which I hope people would learn from and utilize it in their upcoming projects. Can't wait for Moor and Downward Dog now.

P.S. Do this movie a favour and don't disrespect it by saying 'Samajh main nayin ayi' 'It was boring'. Apni samjh barhao, Movie ko bura na bolo. I hope people change their perspective of watching movies.
