                  I absolutely loved this episode!

This is one of my favorite episodes. I could watch the beginning a 1000 times and never get sick of it. The word loath is a massive understatement when it comes to my feelings for brian. The only real problem is they brought this vile character back. I wish they would do an episode similar to this but leaving that mutant gone forever. Maybe one day I'll get what i want. But that day doesnt seem to be coming anytime soon.

Seth MacFarlane are you serious or just trolling badly? I hope not.

I was so excited for upcoming episode. Have no clue what is going to happen? My only clue was "Life of Brian" on episode title? What that could mean? Something entertaining life story about Brian? How he was borned and raised etc. I wondered.

Well... I was wrong, completely wrong! They didn't spoiled episode name like "Death of Brian" because then everybody went mental, crazy, full of anger what we are going through now, which is really devastating and cruel our fans. After watching this episode I was so disappointed, depressed and raging on my TV! WHAT! WHY! WHY THE HELL YOU KILL one of the most beloved characters on TV? Are you Seth this desperate on your show, you have to kill one of the entertaining character on the show? I mean Seth is going nuts and sets bar way too high and just don't think overall what are the consequences. Doing this unthinkable and one of the saddest thing ever on this show.

It's sometimes stupid to think why everyone is going mad because this is just TV SHOW. Well it is TV show, but one of my favouritest, never laughed so hard television series. It's just really emotional feeling when you care these characters so much, than any animated TV show ever.

Well.. I think Seth is very brave to do something cruel like this, however I think this is the message for End of an era for FG. I watched all the seasons and almost every episode was gold and just stomach hurting laughable.. I never expected on my freaking life.

Thanks for the awesome years Seth. It's sad to see if you given up, but I don't hate you. I understand the feeling writers are out of ideas and these new episodes is just lazy writing and ridiculous jokes with adding just stupidness on the limit. I'm not giving up on this show, it's optional this is just really bad joke, troll whatsoever and Brian is coming back I hope. I just admire Seth because he has guts to do something so dangerous I never seened before which can end this show! Period.

I hope we can see Brian again on further episodes and we can all watch FG in peace again.

                  No hard feelings or anything.

Still the best show I have watched ever on cartoon series. Peace!

                  wow seth, cringe

I cant beleive that my all time favoritest show would be ruined, i come and watch family guy to have some laughs, to have joy, but wow, i cant beleive they would pull a curvedball our way, brians death scene is one of the few movies to make me cry, brian was basically my friend and seth macfarlined ruined it, they bringed him back later but i can tell brian was never the same. r.i.p brian.

the one star was because they acheive the emotion they looking for

this is, hands down, the greatest injustice of episode writing history

Seth Macfarlane, why did you have to kill Brian Griffin? He is the greatest cartoon character of all time! You have made the greatest injustice of television history. I would rather sing a song with Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black. Vinny is just a steaming pile of dog poop character who has a tough guy attitude who is a perfect match with Stewie. The problem with Vinny that replaces Brain is he does not have any capabilities like Brain whatsoever. If Vinny should make any more main appearances, the show should expect a 3 month hiatus or a possible cancellation ASAP. Vinny should be the Johnny Test and the Citizen Kane of, if not, the horrible characters of animation history.

to conclude this review, i am not watching family guy anymore and so is everyone else unless Seth Macfarlane revives Brian Griffin to reunite with the Griffins.

Pain & gradual acceptance - it's about life

I didn't feel that I wanted to watch an episode widely publicised as portraying Brian's death.

We have lost sufficient family, friends and pets not to need a lesson in grief or any reminder of the intense pain that accompanies loss. However, this was handled in true FG style, and I was therefore pleasantly surprised to see an element of sensitivity creeping in.

Whilst not the best FG episode around, but it is a fair reflection of how terrible life can be, and I felt the message that "you never get over the pain of losing a loved one, it just subsides to the point where you can live with it" was put across extremely well.

Whether it was "trolling" or not, it was successful in attracting publicity to the show. Perhaps it was the writer's way of telling us that the show cannot go on forever?

Around 25,000 fans of the show signed a petition on Change.org to resurrect Brian. Seth killed Brian as a marketing stunt to make people talk and generate buzz. He, however, did not expect the reaction to exceed what they had in mind.
