Voices

The previous episode began an exploration of former Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas' involvement in the creation of the clones and whether the dark side was manipulating events from the start. This episode brings another character from that past back to the fore as Yoda hears the voice of Qui Gon Jinn (played, as in The Phantom Menace, by Liam Neeson).

This is a fascinating story with Yoda facing dark thoughts, self doubt and a tough struggle to pursue the truth.

The episode is deep, intelligent and thoughtful as well as entertaining.

My rating: 9.5/10.

Always a pleasure to follow Yoda's aventures. This episode sets up a fantastic end of season arc. No action, but very rich in lore.

With very few arcs centred around yoda, it is really interesting to see his adventure this episode (even though he doesn't fight once). We see a side to yoda we never really saw in the prequels (as he didn't have much of a personality). He isn't as loyal to the jedi order as we expected. This episode he was willing to break a few rules and suggestons by the jedi in service of what he believes is right. He even asks anakin for help!
