I'm not dead... Yet!
What has happened to Spoofs and Pardodies?
Oh wait... I remember! The Scary Movie Franchise...
Yeah, it has to be said that this movie follows all the old tropes of trying to cash grab at a popular formula. We are long past the days of Mel Brooks thanks in part to a Politically Correct sensibility that seems to have issues with people taking the P**s out of every cultural stereotype and shoving it in our faces about how Hypocritical society really is...
This was the Genius of many Early Parody Movies... Mel;; Brooks, a Jewish Director/Writer/Movie Star, was more than willing to not only shove the ridiculous stereotypes of most people into our faces and say 'Seriously! This is how Stupid we all are!' but also send up his own beliefs because he KNEW that even he and his beliefs were not above a level of Hypocrisy.
Brooks, Zucker and Abrahams were very culturally aware... and never afraid to ruffle feathers for a laugh - because when we laughed at what we saw on screen, we were also laughing at ourselves...
Sadly, this art seems lost... This movie does NOT hit any of those notes and instead relies on 'Parody' of the most popular movies of its genre...
The Title is obviously a Parody of The Walking Dead, There are references to 28 Days Later, Star Wars, Zombieland (Parody of a Parody? Are you serious?), Warm Bodies and many more.
For what its worth, the film is NOT terrible... In fact, it has elements that are genuinely funny, though they are few and far between.
The effects are possibly one of the better elements of the movie - And sometimes quite graphic and gory... But this does not make it a great film.
Its biggest problem is they try too hard to cram as many pop culture references into the film to try and score cheap laughs that most of the time just do not work.
Given that so many films seem to be pandering to the so called 'Social Justice Warriors' and avoid making jokes that may even remotely come across as Racist or Religious in anyway - Its still baffles me how so many of these movies still rely on Stoner Humour to try and get laughs!
Overall, its cheap, tacky, but to be fair... Its short and mildly entertaining.
It could have been so much more though - Instead to falls into the vain of Disaster Movie, Epic Movie, Scary Movie 4, The Starving Games and such like... Only with a much lower budget.
Its not going to challenge your humour much - But you may get a few cheap laughs out of it.
If people are going to continue doing parodies - PLEASE FOR GODS SAKE STOP TRYING TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT! NOTHING SHOULD BE SACRED TO HUMOUR!

Fumbling brainlessly for one and half hour
The degree of enjoyment one would get from this poorly made spoof is how much churlish subjects like stripper zombies one can tolerate. It takes a lot of zombie titles and creates a bland parody of them. However, movies like Warm Bodies and Zombieland originally had much more humor, making this spoof a very inferior viewing.
There's not much in term of plot or technical aspects. It merely copies the look and some of the quirks on different shows, then puts some exaggerated crude jokes on them. It's certainly far from the refined amusement of Shaun of the Dead, which it ironically also copies on one of its scenes. Some of the gags even feel redundantly repetitive or outright obnoxious.
There are some things it does correctly, although these are so few, such as the impression of Walking Dead Daryl which looks pretty convincing. It points out odd plot devices of the genre like creepy couple with ulterior motives, but then again it's very expected and those who have internet might have come across these jokes before. The rest are cheap knock-offs from the better original titles, which are more bearable, though still in much lower quality.
In span of its runtime, The Walking Deceased probably only has a couple of decently original comedy, which pale in comparison of its more juvenile ones. It's better to rewatch the movies it spoofs on than wasting time on this lackluster parody.

Waste of Dave Sheridan's talent
Love - Love Dave Sheridan . . And even though he was great as his character ( of course) that is all I can say on the positive side . I didn't even finish watching it - so stupid. Stupid can be funny - however not this time. And I think I'm not the only movie lover that is thinking WHY can't some one bring us something ORIGINAL and truly laughable. Everyone wants to do re-makes - do overs- sequels - part 2 - chapter 3 c. So done with that . If Hollywood wants to capture the attention of serious movie fanatics and expect us to spend our hard earned money for a ticket and a $10 bucket of popcorn - then PLEASE at least give us something worthy of the popcorn . In a nutshell : don't waste your time or money on this one. ( You'll be angry)
Boring awful movie
This movie was that bad it's really not worthy of a review, it was one of the worst spoofs I've ever seen in my life!...There was nothing humorous about it at all. The acting was terrible, the story line was plain stupid. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at least five or six times whilst watching it. At times I felt embarrassed for the people involved in the making of this movie. I'm very sure their intentions were good when they had the idea of making this spoof of the walking dead TV series crossed with warm bodies the movie but it was just plain bad and it failed to deliver. I don't think i even chuckled once in the entire viewing of this movie. If you really want to save your money plus an hour and a half of your life then don't watch this extremely boring attempt at humor just give it a miss big time!
Pretty awful
Not very funny spoof of Walking Dead. Some lines were funny, but it relied too much on very contemporary pop-buzz-terminology. I guess they didn't consider that many who watch a serious show like the Walking Dead are probably not interested in Snookie or Kardashian or all the inside jokes on TMZ. So it was overkill.
But the funniest line was when our hero was all upset that Twitter, Facebook, Instagram went down during the Zombie Apocalypse, but then asked about Linked In, and was told, "No, Linked In's still up."
But after that, pretty boring. I shut it off after 20 minutes. The guy who was to play Daryl didn't even look like him at all, or talk like him. They should have hired actors who could really spoof the originals.
